Not true. If Bammy quits before January and Plugs has an “accident”.... Nazi Pelousy become president for the next 2 years. Only if the Pres and VP both become incapacitated at the same time. If only the Pres goes down then the VP goes to Pres and appoints a new VP, same if the VP goes down the Pres appoints a new VP. The only time a speaker would ever take control is in the very unlikely event both the President and VP die or become incapacitated at the same time.
