I think Michael Steele deserves to stay as head of the RNC. His job description was to get as many Republicans as possible elected. He did that. Haley Barbour suggested on Cavuto yesterday that the RGA could have used more support than they got from the RNC, but now we can see why it wasn’t forthcoming:

Steele ended up with more seats up for grabs than anyone predicted months and months ago. Steele was also able to seemlessly bring along the Tea Partiers and the Palin influence and neatly fold them into the GOP tent, leading to the big numbers.

If you think this was easy, just look at the trainwreck of a job that Cornyn did with the NRSC. He tried to give us Crist, the guy from Kentucky primary, and is still trying to give us Murkowsky. No wonder Jim DeMint was busting his chops along with the other establishment GOPers Tuesday night.

How was Michael Steele ANY HELP to Massachusetts? Look at the results in Massachusetts! Nothing major for the GOP, yet again! Every time I vote in Massachusetts, it’s no good! I’m sick of this! We are, already, hurting in Massachusetts, and Massachusetts is going to hurt even more, for many years to come! FU, Michael Steele! Remember his victory speech as the new RNC Chair where he said that he was going to help the northeastern states? Well, where is this help that you promised the northeastern states, Mr. Steele? So many people and so many businesses will be hurt in Massachusetts, for many years to come.
