Wow - hang ON!! Probably be a recount, hmmm??
Having lived in the Bay Area for over 50 years, having obtained environmental permits for industrial processes in three countries, having written two books detailing the environmental damage the greenies do and the corruption behind it, having restored native plant habitat for twenty years to a level unequaled on the Central Coast, I could have taught him a lot, but you know how campaign consultants are. They know everything.
594 out of 613 precincts have been counted.
This district is in the suburban and rural areas of Alameda County, Contra Costa County and San Joaquin County east of SF and east of Oakland and Berkeley.
If Harmer manages to win, he would be the only GOP congressman to represent the San Francisco-Oakland-San Jose metro area.
I have no idea where the remaining 19 precincts are located, or what are the voting tendencies.

Best wishes!
We’re hangin’ onto hope for Dino Rossi up here - many more votes to count.
I lived in Richmond and Walnut Creek as a small child, El Cerrito for elementary school, Acalanes High School in Lafayette, went to Diablo Valley College, and lived on a boat in Martinez. I know the area well.
If Harmer wins, the very idea of Louise Harvey Clark screeching in pain makes for a vision of loveliness.
Alameda has 190% reported in. That leaves areas more friendly to Harmer left, but om disappointed it’s this close. The Wave didn’t make it here.
I dunno .. There's something that looks awfully 'fishy' about that number!
(When do they hit 200%) 8)
Tice Valley and Park Mead elementaries, Las Lomas High.
Harmer is +23 with 6 precincts left to count

Update on Harmer?
I just got back to all this?
Also, do you know the total net gain in the House right now and is it all in yet?
