GOP's Kirk wins Obama's old seat
From the NBC News political team

Republican Mark Kirk is NBC's projected winner of the Illinois Senate race, snatching the seat that former Sen. Barack Obama held in Illinois.

Kirk defeated Obama ally Alexi Giannoulias. Giannoulias struggled to overcome reports that his family's failed bank made loans to known criminals. The president and the first lady both made stops in the state to try to boost the Democrat.

**SNIP**

The victory for Kirk gives Republicans a net gain of five Senate seats so far tonight.

Very bad news, a lying moonbat Socialist “Move On”’er traitor within the GOP Senate caucus and direct conduit to Zero via his Combiner connections. Note how FAST he is to be sworn-in. No loyal Republican/Conservative would ever be sworn in that quickly in a state like this. IL Combine gets their puppet in. He’ll waste no time helping to undermine our agenda.

Another arrow through the heart of the lame duck session.

Another? What other GOPers are sworn in right away?

So how do you draw that conclusion? The courts ordered it a few months ago.

Brady down by 11k with 97 precincts in. Doesn’t look good, but there are still military ballots that have not been counted (assuming Illinois sent them out in the first place). This will probably go on for at least another day.

Scott Brown was sworn in quickly when he won as well; it is because they are special elections outside of the normal cycle.

What ? The IL Courts ? Who do you think populates the court system in IL ? If you guys thinks this is a victory, you’re fooling yourselves. This race was a fixed farce for a lying Socialist fraud. Alexi was a ringer for Kirk. Zero wanted Kirk to win, not the other way around. He got his wish.

97 percent of precincts in not 97 precincts. I think at least half of the precincts remaining are in Chicago metro area. They probably need to wait to see how many votes they need to manufacturer. But it’s all good, the union guys doing it are probably getting paid triple time.

Hopefully the military will put him over the top. Illinois is a big military state.

No, he wasn’t. He wasn’t sworn in the day after the election. The Dems delayed his swearing-in Brown for a month. He was elected on Jan 3rd and not sworn-in until Feb 4th (and that was earlier than they wanted). The MA political establishment would’ve sworn-in Martha Coakley in 24 hours.

You’re missing the lib headline: no blacks in new senate...

I’m unsure as to the significance of that, but I think we’re supposed to give a sh!t. They didn’t mind when that clean, articulate mulatto beat Alan Keyes...

Nope, not in the least. He’s a traitor in the GOP caucus. Anything mentioned to him as to gameplan in the caucus will go right into the ear of Zero.
