How can we win the Gov. seat and not win the Senate seat!
And Politico calls the Senate for Toomey.
Sestak killed Toomey over his Wall Street connections, and since there is a large retired military population living in the Commonwealth, I’m willing to bet that they accepted his U.S. Navy Admiral resume without looking too closely and discovering that he got fired and demoted before leaving the service.
Not gonna miss Special Ed over there? Btw, congradulations!
You can’t. Toomey has got PA too...61,000 vote lead with 97% reporting.
So what are these reports about him losing I kept hearing all night?
Really? I just heard on the radio that Sestak was well ahead of Toomey and that it was all but over.
On that basis alone, this race is remarkably similar to the successful campaign last year in New Jersey by former Federal prosecutor Chris Christie.
Don’t panic just yet. According to NYT election page Toomey is now up 51.8% to 48.2% with 96% precincts reporting. He is going to win it in the end.
I see that it was called for him-fantastic!!!!
Sestak was leading for much of the evening, but some astute Pennsylvania Freepers pointed out that most of the districts that hadn’t yet reported were heavily Republican.
Do you have the link?
Big cities (like Philly) reported first, the western countries are mostly conservative and those votes came in last.
