US Representative Barney Frank, the powerful House committee chairman and influential Democrat, easily won re-election today after holding off a challenge from Republican Sean Bielat.
After a scare, Frank surged to victory, winning 61 percent of the vote to Bielat's 36 percent, with 62 percent of precincts reporting, according to the Associated Press.

I heard he was behind his opponent, as expected.
They are glutons for punishment, aren’t they?
Disgusting to be sure! What a farce! What in the hell is wrong with those people up there!!! For gosh sakes! What in the world!
All I can say is I’m glad I don’t live in a district that would elect Barney Frank. He causes the housing disaster in the nation and gets rewarded with re-election. What a bunch of idiots in Frank’s neighborhood.
No! Not Fannie May Frank!
Nice creative prose to describe the travesty, though. ;-)
Frank’s district will love their Death Panels thanks to this corrupt Elitist sewer slime.
He’s single handedly responsible for the poor condition of this COUNTRY...well, he and his butt buddy the mongrel muslim.
I won’t be surprised if Massachusetts goes, almost, “all D’s, at all levels”, yet again, just as I predicted. This is Massachusetts with a “moonbat majority” of voters.
I’m from MA. I’m sorry. Not my district. Very “em-bare-assing” to be from this crazy place.
bummer, Bwaknee’s back and flaming angwee! He’s no longa gonna be in da majawatee.
Democrat “Change” means sending the same old rejects to the Congress.
It’s Massachusetts. They’ll be proclaiming their own revolution because of status quo.
That district would vote Castro.
A "Castro District", as it were.
This could only happen in a place so degenerate that it has been abandoned by God.
God hasn't abandoned them; they turned away from Him. I am overwhelmed by sadness at this news.
At least the freak had to throw in some of his own cash to get it done. I have no doubts were this guy is going when his time is up...that is enough satisfaction.

He SHOULD BE BEHIND BARS.
Dude.... Dude....
Well, maybe he couldn’t be voted out of office, but with a new GOP majority he could maybe be indicted.
The most miserable man in congress, probably the one most responsible for the mess we are in, is reelected.
It doesn’t seem Massachusetts is too smart.
This is actually good...
Now he can face corruption charges and be removed from office in full nationwide view.
