Is this really a surprise to anyone?

Well, to many who aren't very familiar with Delaware, yes. And I had hoped for a miracle win. But...

9% of NCC reporting.

Chris Coons 65% 7,877
Christine O'Donnell 32% 3,886

She'll catch up a lot through the night, but pull it out? Nope. :-(

Instead of running for the Senate all the time, wouldn't it be neat if she actually gained some experience and demonstrated success at something local or state first?

If those numbers are from Newcastle county they’re way off the statewide numbers.

Well, with O’Donnell out of the way, Sarah Palin’s role as the Dems’ favorite pinata is once again secure.
