Election day (UW Madison student turnout nothing like 08)
mad cap times ^ | 11/02/2010 | p

My son is a poll worker at a UW Madison polling station. Says the turnout is WAY lower than 08. Hope and change must have gone past its 'best if used by' date, lol.

Heavy turnout in the 'big three' Republican Counties, Waukesha, Ozaukee, and Washington. No info on Milwaukee turnout yet, but all bodes well for GOP right now

GOP will win very big... Rat turnout in their strongholds is light to non-existent... and not just in WI.

I know Wisconsin is kind of liberal, but you’d think the weather there was cold enough so they’d worry a bit about Obama’s plans to double the cost of energy.

I’m noticing how the MSM networks really are keeping quiet about reporting exit polling results so far. Looks like they’re trying to do some Teanami damage control.

No MSM leaks this time. That can mean only one thing: its even worse for the Democrats than the last polls have predicted.

It looks like they are holding to their “gentleman’s agreement” to not post exit-polling until after 5:00 local time.

Doesn’t mean anything. The MSM has an agenda. They would be reporting leaks to depress GOP turnout if there were nuggets of good news. We’ll see if they’ve found any to report!

I vote about 20 minutes east of Madison and it was busier than usual at the polling place this morning. I hope that means the conservatives who used to sit elections out, voted today.

Did you hear Mark Belling in his first hour of his show, exposing Doyle for making more backroom deals with Obama, concerning the 800 million for the cow speed rail line? Doyle is the worst. What a low life. Putting the state in debt even deeper, and speeding it up before he leaves the stage.

Gov.Scott Walker
Senator Ron Johnson

Awesome.

Milwaukee county turnout is good. Only inner city is liberal, the surrounding suburbs in the county are conservative (mostly). For example the county executive has been conservative republican the last 8 years - running for governor right now. Expected to win.

It’s not kind of liberal, it’s a 50-50 state. Problem is libs in three big cities, all the rest of the counties usually go republican.

And if they’re not turning out in Blue counties all over America, its going to be a night of conservative wet dreams.

We’ll just have to see if that is the case tonight.

At least what I’ve been hearing around me, the democrat turnout is not what it was in 2008. They are not juiced to go vote today. We are. We have a reason to vote today. They don’t. They still haven’t figured out why what they thought they voted for in 2008 hasn’t materialized. Republicans had no power to stop anything, and funny that none of the democrats ran on what they HAVE DONE the last two years. How could things be going so poorly? WE know why, some of them do, and either aren’t voting or have changed their minds. A few may not be voting at all. Plenty of them out there cheating though.

And I should point out to the new republicans, the RINOs, the party elite, the country-club, ruling class republicans, if you don’t do what we sent you there for, and you know what that is - we will be repeatedly telling you what that is, anyway - we will get rid of your asses next time.

Do not take us for granted. We will be electing who WE want to get elected. We will not accept you steamrolling them over to be good little newbies under your control. They represent us, not what the elite in the republican power structure want.

“We will not accept you steamrolling them over to be good little newbies under your control.”

I heard some of Michelle Bachman (MN) on radio yesterday. She said if she is re-elected, she will be creating a “Constitution Caucus”, and will be encourging all of the new folks to join her. She will have folks in giving classes on the Constitution, etc. She said if you don’t get on the right path, and stick with your convictions, it only takes a few months to get swayed by the power, the money, the pork, etc.

She has more info on her website, and encourages the voters to tell their congressmen about her classes, etc.
