Really? Is there some Florida law that prevents the popularly elected senator from replacing the appointed senator?
Of course, those other three are the ones that really matter, since they are held by Dems and Rubio’s seat is held by a Republican.

WV, DE and IL have a present vacancy in the senate so today's winners will be seated immediately. All the other states have no vacancies, they all have their senators and whether they were elected or appointed doesn't matter. Those elected today will be sworn in in Jan.
