I don’t have a problem with it if the county is renting the space from the church for an agreeable fee.

I’m not sure how I would feel about having to go vote at a mosque, though.

I think the polling places should be kept to publically funded buildings. There should be plenty in every neighborhood.

Well actually, their aren't that many publically funded building in a lot of communities.

And as far as renting a 'church', I have never seen a polling place set up between the pews or on the alter. They use the church activity center or banquet hall --- places the church would rent out for weddings or other events. I have played basketball and been to dances, aniversary celebrations and weddings in those same spaces that are used for polling places.

I don't see a problem with it.
