GOTV!!!!!
NRO reporting that Harrah’s Casino is colluding with the Harry Reid campaign to bus in all employees — an absolute disgrace
Reported here today:
Heavy turnout is GOOD, depending of course on the location. Can you help deescribe where you are in Illinois?
That's it, Dims, hammer the final nail in Vegas' coffin.
My husband and I voted at 7 this morning. There were a few in line but not a long wait.
We are voting a new Mayor and expect a heavy turnout.
BTW, it’s raining here so that means most Democrats won’t bother.
Hope that means our current Mayor loses. WOO HOO !
I dream big. :)
South of I-80, heavy turn-out is good.
North of I-80, heavy dead turn-out is reported.
White House has announced Obama will hold a news conference tomorrow (Wednesday) at 1:00.
Any South Dakotan’s have a pulse on the house race ? Turnout? One of the countries most interesting election results I will be really following.
Irvine, CA

Very efficient workers

That’s the same arm patch I wore on my U.S. Army uniform when I was stationed in Germany in 1970-71.
It was refered to a the USAEURA insignia (U.S. ARMY EUROPE).
I just came across an envelope full of military patches a few weeks ago while cleaning out my desk and found several of them, along with olive drab name patches and my E-5 rank patches.
That picture is a keeper!
Story on Cleveland.com says Cuyahoga County experiencing low turnout. That is good news.
The area is absolutely beautiful... If you want to be just a seasonal person, you will probably love it.
However, if you are looking at moving here, well, let's just say there is much behind the scenes that most people do not see unless they move here.
As to conservative --- mostly yes -- however, we are getting a huge influx of "citidiots" who are bringing their socialist policies with them. They've managed to wreck the Twin Cities area and seem to be more than happy to wreck it up here too.
PM me though if you have any specific questions --- happy to help.
(I posted this earies oh the Florida thread but I wanted you to see it.)
I voted last Thursday at around 2:45pm at the city Library in Ormond Beach FL in Volusia County. Had to drive around a little to find a spot, and empty spots were filled almost as soon as they were emptied.
Inside , while standing in line to wait for my turn, the conversation between the ladies working the sign in was pretty funny from Is it EVER gonna slow down? to Ive never seen it like this!!.
I almost got into it with the lady who finally did wait on me when she tried to ask for additional ID besides my DL AND Voters Registration Card.
Ouickly, with a very serious and very stern look starring straight into her eyes, I replied in my best and fairly loud (and have fooled friends with over the phone) ghetto dialect:
Well if I knowed yall was gonna axe me dat I needed dat, I wuda brung my light bill!!
... with the light bill being previously the ONLY ID required and was easily accepted as voting ID in certain parts of the city of Daytona Beach voting area,( which is THIRTY EIGHT PERCENT BLACK ) so they would not be disenfranchised.
She immediately got the hint as the focus of pretty much the whole room (and ESPECIALLY her fellow workers on either side of her) QUICKLY turned to HER and me.
Redfaced, she suddenly returned my ID and let me sign my name. By how uppity she acted, and knowing I was a registered Republican, I can bet you ANYTHING from her actions that she was a dem and it felt great to embarsss her.
I voted and my ballot went into the reader with out a problem. The counter on the machine, which had been in use since Monday, read 4883.
I’m officially out of my cubicle- off to vote and do an errand or two...
Hold down the fort!
