Democratic gubernatorial candidate Jerry Brown says he seeks a lot of opinions from around California -- and denies the report from former Speaker Willie Brown suggesting he has tapped former Gov. Gray Davis to help run his transition team.
We spoke to Brown, the former two term governor, Sunday regarding the report in the San Francisco Chronicle's Matier and Ross column which is being touted by the campaign of Republican gubernatorial candidate Meg Whitman.
The Whitman team sent out the comments of Willie Brown to M&R, as the former SF Mayor noted he met up with Davis at a recent Google event. He said he got the impression that the former governor may be at work on the next Democratic administration: "From what I'm seeing, Jerry Brown is already putting his transition team together...to me, it sounded like Jerry may have already asked Gray to put together a team."
On the runway in Sacramento as he prepared to head off to Riverside for a final Sunday campaign event, Brown just shook his head at that notion.
"I talk to a lot of people,'' he said, adding he is asking for opinions, views and advice from folks all over California every day. But that, he said, is just his style. "You can give me your opinion too,'' he laughed.

Don’t get me wrong. Willie Brown is a Liberal, but is honest. If Willie Brown is saying that Jerry Brown will hire Gray Davis, I would believe it.
Here we go again.

Some of them ar stopping in Nevada. We do NOT have income tax for personal or corporate income.
Yes, Nevada (and Idaho) have more friendly business environments than Utah with it’s somewhat high taxes. However any western State is a great choice compared to Kalif.
