BTW, I've wondered what the Secret Service is supposed to do when they observe a President engaging in actual criminal activity. Does anyone know? Pretty sure they ignore it. They did when the Bush daughters got caught drinking underage. The book "In the President's Secret Service" made it sound like the SS agents were just a few seats away from the Bush girls when they were confronted and asked for ID.

It could be a bad night for ashtrays and lamps in the White House too.

His first meeting is at 9:45am and his last is at 11:00am?
Very busy schedule - Is he going to Walk the Dog afterward?
The rest is a clean slate
November 2nd will be the start of America’s Clean Slate.

He could always play golf. From what I hear, he’s such a lousy golfer that playing at night wouldn’t make much difference.

Yes, it's been a stunning success for the anointed one. His last 48 hours on the campaign trail have witnessed several embarrassing episodes - half-full rallies, hecklers, wino begging the motorcade - so his handlers have pulled him. No public appearances as the boy-king licks his wounds. Then, jetting off to Indonesia, where he'll pray in a mosque, as he abandons his party in the aftermath of the work electoral shellacking in American history, in an election widely understood to be a referendum on his presidency. That ought to do wonders for the old approval ratings.

I imagine there must be some sort of a line. Maybe they ignore misdemeanors? How about felonies? Capital crimes? Would they stand by and just watch? Somehow, I doubt it.
How about hard drugs?

The SS’s job is to protect the President - whomever that might be. So it would seem to me thAt in order for them to do that effectively, that they would have to have the trust of the person they are protecting.
Is there a line that can be crossed that would prompt them to report crimes?
I would like to think so. But what that line might be, they aren’t saying.

This reminds me of Jimmy Carter, when he stayed holed up in the Whitehouse while Americans were being held hostage in Iran, and refusing to light the Christmas tree.
