POLLSTER RASMUSSEN SAYS THE GOP IS NO MORE POPULAR THAN THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY
Writing in the Wall Street Journal, pollster Scott Rasmussen has a reminder for all of those Republicans who think that tomorrow’s election means that the American people have fallen in love with them and their party:
But none of this means that Republicans are winning. The reality is that voters in 2010 are doing the same thing they did in 2006 and 2008: They are voting against the party in power.

“Internet Killed the Political Boss”
Sung to the tune of “Video Killed the Radio Star”
Does this mean that we won’t get stuck with another bobdole because it’s “his turn”?
Because we have the internet the MSM no longer has a monopoly on examining what's going on in Congress.
We all see their entrails every day and can pull and poke at them to see what's really there.
Social networking has grown substantially in the two years since Obama could get away with wandering about talking to major newspaper editorial boards regarding his Farleftwingfanatic bona vides and keep that stuff secret.
Now he can't and neither can his running dog lackeys in the rest of the Democrat party structure.
politics bump for later.........
Yep, that is a real toe-tapper that everyone but me knows. I have never heard of it and I am old.
It seems we hve work to do- over the course of the next two elections, job one is to destroy the demonRATs and drive the communists from DC; job two, during that period, is to bet the RINOs out of DC as well.
From here, the elevation of a third party can happen, i.e. the Libertarians, perhaps. Only “we the people” can force the elevation of two pro-American parties.
But the states had better start working on voter fraud...
The real winners are conservatives. The Republican Party is just the necessary shell, the organization, we are using. The Democrat Party has been taken over by the Left and starting a new party is almost impossible. Ask Ross Perot. So, we are taking over the Republican Party.
I would like to think that the Republican party will take note of what is taking place and alter it’s policies accordingly. I remain unconvinced that it will.
One need only look at what happened to Christine O’Donnell to understand that the GOP leadership and it’s major players are going to fight this tooth and nail. This is a power play, they understand it, and they will do everything in their power to prevent it.
Some people will point to the quick about face when it comes to O’Donnell. Actually, I think that was a token turn-around because the RNC realized this situation was going to blow up in their face.
When this election is over, I think we’ll see the Republicans act as if they welcome the Tea Party folks, but will try to minimize their impact behind the scenes.
Rememeber, we had some very rosy predictions about what the 1994 Freshman class would accomplish. For a while things did look good. And then that all died out.
It remains to be seen if we can hold enough feet to the fire that we can see these people’s stated Conservatism (loosely defined) remain their driving force.
Don’t be surprised if the GOP fights this tooth and nail.
The Tea Party is going to have to remain vigilant. People like John McCain will be just as vigilant at turning these people into little clones of himself. It remains to be seen who will win out.
There is little doubt voters are rejecting both the demrats and GOP. They are also throwing out the professional incumbants who have made a mess of America. This a whole different ball game than voting for some slick neighborhood organizer who mesmorized them with the “hope and change” mantra.
The majority of voting Americans are voting for Tea Party conservatives. By doing so they are defeating the attempted coup by Marxists to take over our country.
I guess Rasmussen is throwing the demrat leftists a bone in the event they usurp power again.
Thank you, but I was happier before I heard it. :-)
