House Republican Leader John Boehner plans to hammer President Obama during an election-eve rally on Monday night, for his use of the word “enemies” during an interview with Univision radio that got huge play in the conservative blogosphere.
The president said: “If Latinos sit out the election instead of saying, ‘We’re gonna punish our enemies, and we’re gonna reward our friends who stand with us on issues that are important to us’ — if they don’t see that kind of upsurge in voting in this election — then I think it’s going to be harder. And that’s why I think it’s so important that people focus on voting on November 2nd.”
In remarks prepared for delivery to a rally in Cincinnati with Rob Portman, the GOP nominee for Senate in Ohio, and John Kasich, the GOP nominee for Ohio governor, Boehner says:
“Ladies and gentlemen, we have a president in the White House who referred to Americans who disagree with him as ‘our enemies.’ Think about that. He actually used that word. When Ronald Reagan, George Bush, Bill Clinton, and George W. Bush used the word ‘enemy,’ they reserved it for global terrorists and foreign dictators — enemies of the United States. Enemies of freedom. Enemies of our country.
“Today, sadly, we have president who uses the word ‘enemy’ for fellow Americans — fellow citizens. He uses it for people who disagree with his agenda of bigger government — people speaking out for a smaller, more accountable government that respects freedom and allows small businesses to create jobs. Mr. President, there's a word for people who have the audacity to speak up in defense of freedom, the Constitution, and the values of limited government that made our country great. We don't call them ‘enemies.’ We call them ‘patriots.’”
Obama always gets hammered when he says what he really thinks of us rednecks who cling to God and guns, whether it’s his support for 100% tax rates on the rich or just calling those who support America and freedom his enemies (which is true).

Since Obama has deemed us “enemies” the GOP should not meet with him without preconditions.
When Obama makes gaffes like this (his true feelings. i.e. “thinking clearly,” “clinging,” “Cambridge cops..”), the media always brushes it under the rug, and hopes the Repubs don’t make an issue of it. And when they do, the lib media cartel panics.
You can bet the news rooms of NYT, MSNBC, CNN etc are on fire right now. They know this looks real bad. Watch for the pushback/excuse/media montage/talking point by noon
Obama is being Obama.
He has been programmed to view anyone who disagrees with him as an enemy. This is Marxism at it’s very core and this is how community organizers are trained.
Makes me wonder if it makes it hard for some liberals to say he speaks for them?

You can bet Media Matters and the lib media machine is working OT right now to find Bush or Reagan or some Repub prez uttering the word “enemy” directed at liberals — even if they have to take it out of context.
They probably have mixed emotions -
glad that he’s obviously expressing what they really believe,
but cringing to know that he’s letting the cat out of the bag too soon.
We could learn a thing or two from them. Marxists and their useful idiot followers truly are the enemies of our way of life and country.
Good for Boehner but he has to step up his game. He should have been all over this the day Obama made the comment.
The Kenyan is not one of us. He is a Communist subversive. The enemy is in the White House.

Haven't we been lectured for two years (by him) how this is the man that reaches out, the man who puts country before politics, who has done everything he could to be the uniter?I am starting to think he is a phony :)
