The Taj is shutting its doors to other guests as it readies itself for its most important one. But the arrival of Barack Obama doesn’t have the hotel’s staff excited. Reason?
For the two days the US president and his entourage will be at the Taj, the staff will be under virtual house arrest. Worse, they can’t keep their mobile phones with them...
all 570 rooms in the hotel have been booked for the duration of Obama’s visit... The rooms adjacent, above and below the presidential suit will be occupied by FBI agents — 700 of whom will accompany the Obamas...
“Obama’s contingent is huge,” a senior security official at the Taj said. “Two jumbo jets and several security jets are coming along with Air Force One. And the presidential convoy will comprise 45 cars.

I don’t think Obama’s Imperial Dunbar is making a very good impression on the Indians, they’ve seen the real thing and it didn’t require a teleprompter.

And why FBI (charged with DOMESTIC law enforcement) rather than Secret Service?
Nothing adds up with this guy, unless the sum is extravagant and bizarre.
I think it was Rush who wondered aloud if, with 40 aircraft and hundreds in his retinue, if the Obamas were permanently relocating. Then, another FReeper or two wondered if it was an off site command center and what that might mean (i.e. what’s about to happen in the US).Yeah, that made my goofy grin fade for a few moments...
No doubt about it. Obama is filled with hate and intends to punish people who have never done him any harm. He just thinks they did.
Let’s pray he plans on STAYING there....voluntarily or involuntarily.

Security for an American president must certainly be a nightmare, particularly so close to so many radical Muslims and most particularly since Obama would be considered an apostate because of his Muslim father. The “lock-down” may have been the Indian government’s idea, for all we know.

I am certain the reporter used FBI in place of Secret Service. The Secret Service has plenty of folks and they don’t loan their primary job out to anyone.
I don't know is any of that is true. Maybe it is. But I do know one thing. It is a huge waste of taxpayer money that serves no other purpose than to make Obama and his wife feel like royalty.
