I stopped on the Restore Sanity rally on tv, about time the former Cat Stevens (now Usef Islam?) was singing his famous song from 1960s “Peace Train”, and then saw his new name, and realized he had become muslim....the most violent of religions. It was unbelievable by itself, and that isn’t sanity.
Then some Guido Saducci claiming to be a priest did a benediction in first half, and was asking GOD to do something to show which religion was right one...I laughed, and thought he must be fake, cause the BIBLE says ‘do NOT put God to a foolish test’, and that was the top of the line for a foolish test.
Anyway... it was a LAME attempt as a rally, although many depressed and zombie souls attended. I realize they were trying, but it looked more like a party that was having trouble getting off the ground. The crowd basically seemed as if they did not know why they were there. Then I read today that Arriana Huffington paid for 10,000 people from NYC to take buses to the rally. That was a really bad investment imho.
