Being enlisted in the military and having the right to vote are not connected (for good or bad) in the U.S. Being enlisted in the miliary has ZERO connection with your right to vote. Someone like me, a middle-aged woman who has never served in the military, has as much a right to vote as someone like my dad, who came close to making the ultimate sacrifice as a Naval officer in WWII.
You didn't "earn" the right any more than I did. You and I were blessed with it in part through the blood of Americans who fought, and for that I am grateful, and I know you are, too.
You were BLESSED with the right to vote. YOU did not earn it, nor did you bequeath MY right to vote to ME. I love members of the military, am married to a veteran, am the daughter of a veteran, have brothers who are veterans, and too many beloved friends to mention who currently serve or are veterans. NOT A SINGLE ONE fancies themself superior to their fellow non-veteran Americans because of it, nor do they think their right to vote has an "earned" quality that mine doesn't because of their military service.
Get off your high horse.
“Get off your high horse.”

You are incorrect,,,
We paid for your right to vote and ours too,,,
You just spit on us with your post,,,
Ain’t like anybody cared...
