Alaska: Federal suit filed over election write-in list

Last Modified: October 30th, 2010 07:19 PM A federal lawsuit has been filed on behalf of four Alaska voters over the state's providing a list of write-in candidates to voters.
The lawsuit alleges that in providing lists, the state has changed its rules for holding elections and did so without receiving the required approval of the U.S. Department of Justice.

Well, now that enterprising Alaskans have made the list a joke, God bless them, perhaps the stupid list will be set aside. The whole thing is beyond ridiculous. I don’t know how anyone can see it as fair.
