I still think she did the right thing. She gave token support. She’s a classy lady.

The truth is he did something for her. Probably the best thing he’s ever done politically. He put her on the main stage.

Everything else she’s done on her own. Not supporting him would have looked bad and, really, would have been bad.

It’s mostly forgotten now, anyway, except for a few people holding the grudge.

I didn’t know that, rintense. He’s kinda claimed that he did it over the advice of his staff.

Answer is:

Mrs. Palin winning would put Cindy McCain's husband's loss in perspective and show him to be the reason he lost to a now unpopular marxist in 08.

If she is right then:

McCain has a very poor sense of judgment, especially when important decisions are at stake.

If she is wrong then:

She is a whiny jealous RINO, just like her dad.

McCain beat JD in the primary. He could care less what happens to Palin after he used her. Cindy is just the mouthpiece for what John McCain really feels about her. In any event, Palin's endorsement of the King of Amnesty probably destroyed her future political ambitions anyway.

Wait until McCain is reelected and back in the senate as the party maverick. Then it will be Palin who will be running away from McCain as fast as possible. Unfortunately, die jacta est.

Cindy McCain is:
1. Famous by association (her husband)
2. Rich by association (heir of rich guy)
3. Guilty by association (husband co-authored mammoth anti-free-speech law undermining the political system)

Sarah is:
1. Famous for actions
2. Rich or not rich, through personal effort
3. Not guilty of undermining the country; a shining example of the opposite, in fact

And so, we should listen to what Cindy McCain says because... (I give up)

Hopefully, it will tear apart the Republican party, but I sincerely doubt it. The RINO’s are too entrenched , but if it did happen, more than likely most RINO’s would defect to the dems anyways.

Cleaning house over the next decade should be priority one, including all the staffers in D.C., IMO.

When is this bimbo going to go back to her nursery and resume playing with her dolls? She is about as qualified to give an opinion as a 2 year old and that’s probably being unkind to a 2 year old.

It really is amazing. Maybe they’re thinking that Papa McCain will run again. He’s out campaigning for some people who are going to clean up on Tuesday. Why else would he be doing that? He’s racking up the credits. They must be preparing for a showdown with her. If such an event comes to pass, it won’t be a showdown, it will be a wipe out.

The people of AZ have some explaining to do with this choice.

Cindy is upset that her leftist Rotting corpse of a husband could never cut it as a presidential candidate with Sarah Palin running.

McCain added that she thinks Palin has the "sense" an "wherewithal" to hold the country's highest office.

"I just hope she has the ability to understand that we have to include everybody in this party and this country. And again, I am not criticizing Sarah. But I understand that we are going to lose our young people to politics unless we include everybody in the process," McCain said.

I guess that must mean gays and minorities. Cindy McCain is trying to brand the GOP as the party of bigots and racists and similarly Palin. This is despicable.

So Cindy says Palin is capable of running the country as long as she is nice to her nasty nitwit daughter Meghan and includes her in the party.

Exactly. Many are overlooking facts as well:

-Palin never went back to stump for McCain after the first series.

-She didn't make any additional media spots for him.

-(Rumor) After the first debate with Hayworth, McCain called Palin to stump for him. She politely declined citing a 'busy summer schedule'.

-Meghan McCain stayed absolutely silent about Palin until her daddy won the primary.

And now, we get all these 'non-confidence' stories from the McCain's.

Make no mistake: Sarah fulfilled her 'obligation'. McCain/Palin? Yeah, it's over. Thank God.

I’m thinking Sarah at least knows how many houses she owns.

There are numerous stories on FR about this. Most weren’t surprised. McCain was convinced he could win with Joe. But with Joe, there was no way he’d get the grassroots.

What happened to the duct tape? Quick, put it on and shut her up, she is obviously delirious.

Token my ass. She appeared with McCain several times on the campaign trail and praised him effusively. She stabbed the real conservative in the race, JD Hayworth, in the back. Now she is getting her just reward.

What was Palin thinking when she supported these ingrates? Loyalty to obvious backstabbers is not exactly an admirable trait. I have my doubts now, too.

I see the McCain'ts really appreciated Sarah's endorsement.

McCain't is a user. He used Sarah when he was running so he wouldn't get his has beaten as badly as it could have been. Then, he allowed his campaign flunkies to try to destroy her after the election...a pure case of envy because she was more popular than he.

Now in true, mccain't turncoat, RINO fashion, he's trotting his womenfolk out to do his fighting for him.

And they call him a great American hero? Whatever honor he displayed in that prison camp has long since been pissed away for political gain.
