The bomb found on a cargo plane in Britain was viable and could have exploded mid-flight, Theresa May, the Home Secretary said.

Home Secretary Theresa May has confirmed a device found at East Midlands airport could have brought down an aircraft.
Following the COBRA meeting May said the device found in the UK was "viable" and that the threat level in the UK is severe meaning an attack in the country is highly likely.
The Home Secretary also said that she has been in regular contact with PM and restrictions will be placed on all flights from Yemen.
The parcel sparked a terror alert at East Midlands airport, on the Derbyshire and Leicestershire border.

The two packages were both addressed to Jewish synagogues in the Chicago area and had originated in Yemen.
The parcel bombs was prepared in a professional manner, with a closed electrical circuit connected to a mobile phone SIM card hidden inside the printer.
Explosive material pentaerynthritol trinitrate was found with in the packages, concealed within the printers. Just 100g of the highly volatile substance is needed to blow up a car.

this whole plot line....bizzare, and now there is news that they didn’t tell Cameron immediately....
this may be way off, but when an administration overtly does not declare a war on Muslim Jhihadi terrorism, when Brennan says his favorite city is Jerusalem but uses the Muslim word for it, when the CIA and FBI guys are under threat that any move they make will be after the fact analyzed if it was politicallly correct.....

Another question..why didn’t Obama warn the British leader Mr. Cameron about the so called plot?
And why did he allow the planes to be unloaded and the parcels to be moved to delivery trucks—thereby causing at least one of them to be surrounded by law enforcement so the parcel could be removed.
Did you get the impression that Zero was not amused when forced to actually have a meeting concerning the threats?
He looked po’d to me, sitting at the head of the table. Or maybe he was bored. More likely he was thinking that it was getting really tough to schedule rounds of golf when all this ‘terrorism’ crap keeps getting in the way.
And I loved his comment where he didn’t call it moslem terrorism - I guess we need to keep an eagle eye out for Baptist, Catholic, Methodist, and other known terrorist groups.

Does any of this scenario seem real? Why were they allowed to come to US?
Why were jet fighters scrambled to escort a passenger plane because of a package in the cargo hold?
Why, (if reports are accurate) were synagogues in Chicago notified Thursday morning and the president informed Thursday night?
Why was David Cameron not notified until 10 hours AFTER Obama had been?
Why, if as reported, there are 24 more packages/bombs missing isn’t the country on high alert?

We need an island someplace outside of the US where all cargo planes heading to the US must land, be searched completely. Then place all cargo on an American plane to continue its journey to the US. If there are problems, turn the original plane around and send it back to where it came from. Just stamp the package....”Return to sender”. Especially if the planes are coming from the Middle East. Same for cargo ships.
This whole fiasco has Axelrod's stench all over it. For all we know, the British intelligence wanted to keep this quiet, so they could collect some actionable intelligence. They quietly informed the US Thursday morning, and the Administration could have passed the intel on to the delivery corporations' intel departments. They could have landed the planes onto a military base instead of a commercial airport.
Instead, Obama lets the thing blow open Friday, so he could prance and preen in front of the cameras. I can picture MI6 doing a facepalm.

Secondly, I would be asking the question as to whether Taxpayer money financed the operation that sent the bombs(fake or otherwise). Something about this stinks to high heaven. How did so many get thru in such a short time span.

Many Americans and allies are going to die as a result of Obama’s ‘we can absorb an attack’ policy. Particularly if he is willing to knowingly allow an attack to initiate.
We need to do some covert “dirty work” back home where all our little terrorist friends hide; do continous ugly damage to their homelands until their own governments flush them out. If not, then we really do know they are our enemy as well, and step it up. This terrorist, islamist crap will continue until the West grows a pair and does some serious, serious head stompin’, like our European relatives did in the Middle and Renaissance Ages. It is the only thing they understand and fear, aggressive, militaristic, Crusader action. And in the case of Israel, same thing, it being Judaic survivor action. Period. End of story. And by the way, stop their immigration to the West and kick out all the others of their ilk here, and in Europe, on welfare. They’re a cancer, growing.
I honestly didn't know that. I'm still trying to figure out why BO KNEW about this on Thursday night and STILL allowed the planes to land here.
