Obama will speak about today's terror threats. Besides speaking about Christine O'Donnell closing the gap with Chris Coons, Obama is also expected to talk about the packages from Yemen via UPS planes scare (and probably the plane getting a fighter escort to NYC now.)
Al-qaeda probably has a vested interest in keeping Bozo and his party in power, but I’m still unclear how this event would influence voters to choose Democrats. A lot of people have already voted by mail.

Republicans continue to be trusted more on national security issues and the war on terror, with 49% of voters trusting the GOP versus 39% who trust the Democrats more.
The economy continues to be the most important issue on voters’ minds this election, and 49% place their trust in Republicans to handle this issue. Thirty-nine percent (39%) trust Democrats more.

Anybody else ‘see’ the UAE plane land? Fox followed it on landing...as it flew OVER the neighborhoods surrounding JFK. Collateral damage on the ground was risked? If this plane flew over Canadian airspace as well, why not land at a remote airfield NOT in a densely populated area?
Could it be because media coverage would ONLY be available with an ‘escorted’ landing in NYC?

I was listening to Hannity this afternoon, driving down the interstate..when Hannity went to Obama....The Big O is gonna tell me about terror bombs...never heard a word...pushed a button..straight to classic country....heh its Patsy Kline...."I go out walking...after midnight"...
I don’t think it’s going to make anyone vote rat nor will it get out the rat vote any more so than it already was.

Bombs from Yemen? GMAFB. Zero’s administration got some UPS union slugs to dump a bunch of electronic junk into a couple of boxes, put some mysterious looking sender address crap on them, and bring them over.
Yes from Yemen, where the AQAP are. It is pretty typical for them to do some sort of attack before an election. It won’t work in the US. And I believe this was the real thing. The conspiracy stories here are a bit much, starting to sound like truthers.
Maybe they had the best resources there to deal with such a situation.

I wasn’t entirely sure what was up by the end of the ABC News Special Report when a drunken Diane Sawyer asked Brian Ross if they had tracked down the addresses in Chicago where the bombs came from with names and so on and he had to play it off like he wasn’t dealing with an alki anchor.

WASHINGTON — Calling it a “credible terrorist threat,” President Barack Obama said apparent explosive material was found on two U.S.-bound packages from Yemen, triggering searches of flights with other packages from Yemen and an investigation into whether al-Qaida was behind a new terror plot.
Sources told NBC News that both packages contained toner cartridges with wires and white powder. The devices were found in Britain and Dubai last night.
“An initial examination of those packages has determined that they do apparently contain explosive material,” Obama told reporters.
The devices were “in a form that was designed to try to carry out some kind of attack,” added White House counterterrorism adviser John Brennan. “Clearly, from the initial observation, the initial analysis that was done, the material that was found ... was intended to do harm.”

Bingo! That’s what I asked earlier today! The media and the administration are acting like they have thwarted some big attack, yet they didn’t do a thing but take the intel info from a foreign ally last night and then allowed the planes into the US anyway!!
WAKE UP AMERICA..The enemy is inside the gates and running the country. If they aren’t ‘enemies’ of this country, they are incompetent..take your pick.

The UAE officials say there was no cargo from Yemen on the plane. Dubai said they intercepted the package. Dubai? When I think of Dubai, I think of Bloomberg, Clinton and zero. Some of their best friends are in Dubai.
It’s a hoax to help the rats. A by-product that zero will like is that it’s all a gift to the terrorists. They’ll use this to flaunt their power.
But the FBI said there were no explosives. Yet all these planes have been ordered grounded for searching. Zero will not be changing any of his travel plans.
This whole thing reminds me of a prison watch commander ordering a shakedown of the barracks to impress the warden.

If there was a bomb on board, wouldn’t detonation over a heavily populated area be added damage?
The actions of the Obama Administration, at first blush, seem orchestrated, at best, for maximum media coverage.
