The Delaware GOP Senate nominee has nearly halved the lead Democratic rival Chris Coons holds over her in the First State's widely-watched Senate race, a poll released Friday shows.
In a Monmouth University poll, Coons now leads O'Donnell 51-41 percent, whereas two weeks ago, the New Castle County executive led the conservative activist 57-38 percent.

Tea Party Express/Sarah Palin to rally in Delaware

Although I’m sure you’re only asking out of the deepest concern and best intentions, Sarah got her nominated and the Tea Party is rallying for her, so you can relax.
Hot Dang! There’s a chance, there’s a chance. Rush said that she’s got a 3 point (?) lead with Independents. I still have hope and I pray the voters will see how corrupt and dishonest the Demonrats are and will snap to. :)
This is fantastic news, but I don’t know if there is enough time for her to close that gap.
Must be some truth to it, because Zero is going back again to Delaware tomorrow to campaign for the bearded marxist.
Sarah got her nominated? I’d say the tea party got her nominated.
If Joy Behar would really cuss her out she’d probably gain another 5 points.
Excellent
I still haven’t received an official announcement from the Tea Party Express that Palin will be there. I sure hope she does!
Wasn’t she down something like 15 points 1 or 2 days before the primary that she won by a huge margin?

I just heard Rushbo say that this poll had independants breaking for O’Donnell...
ODonnell has actually pulled into a 49% to 43% lead in the southern part of the state (i.e. Kent and Sussex counties). Two weeks ago, this region of the state was divided at 47% for ODonnell and 46% for Coons.
ODonnell has also made gains among independent voters, now leading Coons 47% to 42%
Sample: Dems 37% ; Ind 33% ; Rep 29%
O'Donnell could win if the GOP would get behind her and if independents out poll Dems. She can close the gap by 3% if GOP voter would support her in the normal partisan fashion. If Independents poll close to even with RATS, she wins..

What’s your gut feeling on this one; is Christine gonna pull off a victory? I think it all comes down to turnout. If the Dems are complacent and lazy, she wins; IMO.
51+41=102
51+41=92
