I believe she’s leading by enough to make the left panic. If she was down by 10 points, the White House wouldn’t be changing plans and campaigning for Coons this weekend. Obama’s trip to Delaware isn’t even on the White House schedule, but it’s planned he’s going to Delaware to campaign with Coons. He hasn’t bothered to do that ‘til now.
The whitehouse was hoping to tie Obama to a sure thing.
Obama:
“SOME, I guess, were afraid to run on the success of my policies. Senator Coons was not... and look where he is today.”
“Delaware you made a wise choice, and the rest of you better look out.”
That was the plan anyway.
