The National Football League’s political action committee—Gridiron PAC—has weighed in on the hotly contested U.S. Senate election in Nevada that pits conservative Republican challenger Sharron Angle against Senate Democratic Leader Harry Reid.

The PAC has given $10,000 to Reid—the maximum it can give in a single election cycle—and no money to Angle, according to Federal Election Commission data compiled by OpenSecrets.org.

The NFL’s PAC also contributed to other incumbent Democratic senators facing viable challengers this year, giving $5,000 to Blanche Lincoln of Arkansas; $5,000 to Russ Feingold of Wisconsin; $5,000 to Barbara Boxer of California; $5,000 to Michael Bennet of Colorado; and $5,000 to Patty Murray of Washington.

In none of these races did the NFL’s PAC contribute to the Republican challenger.

Obama stays out of the NHL, that’s why I like it. Case in point when my Chicago Blackhawks won the Stanley Cup last season I didn’t hear anything from 0bama or our owner thanking the Kenyan commie for winning the championship, like the Steelers owner did. Also the NHL doesn’t wear pink, they don’t put in girly rules, and the players play harder – love it. I used to be a big NFL fan, but ever since Goodell took it over, they have become a pansy liberal organization that I wish to not support.

That's the team from Indy. It goes deeper than that.

My Blackhawks too. Unfortunately, it is rebuilding time again. Are the powers that be, in the NFL, a bunch of racists? I think they are.

there were a few NHL players who wore pink laces in their skates to show solidarity with breast cancer patients, but nothing like the revolting retina-popping displays the NFL had been putting on.

for a rebuilding team, the ‘Hawks looked pretty darn good the few times I’ve seen them.

Is this satire? NFL with its low IQ thugs and overblown sense of entitlement is involved in politics?

Between what they did to Rush, then all the hot pink nonsense we’ve been deluged with this month (although I noticed almost all of it went away this past weekend), and now this, they’re making it really easy to turn off the games and do something else.

I suppose I should thank the NFL for giving me a reason to take my Sundays back. Now football can just be a fond memory from my childhood (as are so many other things these days).

Percentage of blacks in NFL ——70%
Percentage of blacks in NBA-——78%
Percentage of blacks in NHL-—— 4.7%

Does that tell you why they support Obama???

This doesn’t help to dispel the stereotype of the dumb, pampered, privately tutored in college, takes exams by proxy, knuckle-dragging jock.

Maybe some stereotypes are there for a good reason.
