What albums might Leon Trotsky have done some head-banging to if Josef Stalin hadn't sent an assassin to shove an icepick through his skull?
Answer: the 10 Neo-Communist (and some flat-out communist) titles on our list. We count them down from the more benign Democrat-supporters to outright totalitarian radicals.
Included in this collection are alternative, rock, rap, folk, and hip-hop titles. We've also done our best not to be too obvious with our choices -- you won't find Greenday's "American Idiot" on this list, for example. We also made the choice to select albums that despite being nauseating in their politics can actually be enjoyable to listen to -- hence the decision to include a video with each. That's your cookie for having to endure the next ten pages of anti-Americanism as we expose some of music's most politicized albums.
10."Hail to the Thief" by Radiohead

Well. I must say, album #1 doesn’t seem so bad.
“F the Brady bill
F the Brady bill
If God made man they say
Sam Colt made him equal”
This stuff is sickening.
These are disgusting Leftist/commie/ thugs.
I thought I read that Nas had a song that was anti-abortion.

This list is way off track. And they didn’t put that stupid Green day album in there.
Good observation.
“Witchcraft Destroys Minds & Reaps Souls” by Coven, should please our anti-social conservatives.
Maybe not “ever” but major label albums of the modern era, perhaps.

4. The Battle of Los Angeles by Rage Against the Machine
3. Ear to the Ground by Malvina Reynolds

Whatever
Nice to see I was never a fan of any of those groups, although I liked a few early Neil Young songs in my youth (got the 8-track I inherited from my mom around here somewhere).
No Chumbawumba or Jello Biafra or Last Poets or Pete Seeger or...
For all of the “Rock against Reagan” and subsquent “Rock against Bush” movements, I don’t recall any “Rock FOR Carter” action or albums.
I used to have as my tagline:
Hey, Billie Joe - you ARE an American idiot!
That's a shame. I'd have liked to have read it.
“Blows Against the Empire”...
Had a great album cover.
Jello is leftist, but the fun thing is he has no problem sticking it to Democrats too, or really anyone who pisses him off. California Ueber Alles was written for Jerry Brown, casting him as a Hitler who would use his secret police to enforce his brand of hippie fascism. The cover was of a Nazi rally with smiley faces over the swastika banners, and Brown in place of Hitler.
And I was doped up enough to listen to it!
Come a looonnnnggg way!
