According to pollster Doug Schoen, whose new poll shows vast support for the Tea Party movement among voters, the president is still liked by about half the nation. In fact, more like him personally than like his policies. Some 48 percent think he’s a nice guy, while just 42 percent approve of his job performance. But that personal favorability doesn’t translate into re-election support when voters are asked if Obama deserves a second term. Says Schoen: “Despite voters feelings toward Obama personally, 56 percent say he does not deserve to be re-elected, while 38 percent say he does deserve to be re-elected president.” Worse, Schoen adds, “43 percent say that Barack Obama has been a better president than George W. Bush, while 48 percent say Bush was a better president than Obama has been.”

Sure. A real nice guy with the same personality disorder (pathological narcissism) as Saddam Hussein and Hitler.
This will probably be big news tonight on Fox.
Hannity will mention it but not sure about anyone else.
Wish someone would send this poll to Shep Smith just to see if he would mention it.
The big difference is that if W said it you could count on it. If obama says it, you have to wait a day to hear what he really meant.
He’s just a nice guy who likes to punish his enemies and stick republicans to the back of the bus while he throws everyone else under the bus.
It doesn’t SHOCK me . . . Actually, if Democrat-leaning Schoen had used a more representative sample, President Bush would have eclipsed Obama by 53ish to 47ish.
And we were worried about his book being released....
Yeah, Hannity most likely.
But Schoen is on a lot of Fox shows.
I would like to see Shepard moved to Kelly or Beck’s time slot.
Shepard has a good time slot. Why do they put him on then?
I can deal with him being on in the afternoon but after Bret Baeir, I want something a lot better than Shep.
The Dems definitely won’t mention the book excerpts.
We were wondering if the book was an “October surprise” and perhaps it is - a surprise to the Dems.
At 7:00 PM we usually switch to “Monk” on the Sleuth channel, then back to Fox at 8:00 for O’Reilly.
Obama is among the most un-nice and unlikable people I’ve ever seen. Nothing ever comes out of his mouth that is not laced with bitterness, recrimination, and hate.
He’s not a leader he’s a punisher who wants to stick it to a country he hates.... He has no vision other than class and race warfare.
That is a shock.
Where did they find that 43% who would pick Obama again???
Doug Shoen just on with Megyn Kelley and did not mention this poll.
Schoen is a Hillary democrat.
He’s co-owns a polling firm with Mark Penn who was Hillary’s main campaign adviser.
This may all be setting up for a 2012 primary challenge for Hilary.
