Also President Bush would have never gone on a comedy show. He knew what is appropriate, unlike the arrogant *** who currently occupies The People’s House

But it requires people to see that the greater man is the one that self imposes some standards and decency. culture is the fine art of discrimination.

Realize, we're dealing with an electorate that has been dummied down with public education. That is divided and has been pushed to see their world in terms of race, sex, age, income, national origin or sexual orientation by demagogues making their living off them. They are blasted and overwhelmed with information, most trivial, much incorrect, that then also gets filtered for political correct reasons or because certain things sell better. They are incapable of making any form of value based decision because they have actually been taught that this is wrong! They are so beat down into believing it's wrong to make value based decisions/judgments that they can't see a difference between a Gericaul and Andy Warhol. They never read the classics, they are not taught formal logic, are poor in math and can't identify a fallacy. Basically, they can't think.

The American is so ADD (from the Internet, computer games, and quick paced movies and music) that even if you have a news show you need to super-saturate the colors, have constant movement on the screen and you STILL can't keep their attention longer than ~3-5 minutes. Even reality isn't vivid enough anymore for them, and they are hyper sexed, over medicated and bored with things like food, their spouse, children............. Though we have more degrees than ever before, though we love to consider ourselves more intellectual and cultured, we have as a society degenerated into some cultural primordial scum chasing our most basic hedonistic needs. Turn on MTV or some Hip Hop video to see this in action.

Do you expect the modern “layperson” to really see the culture and decency in what Bush did or how he conducts himself now? Do you think the layperson recognizes how vile it is of Carter to run around and ankle bite the way he does?

The people today want their bread and games. Give them a $250 stimulus check and they will sell you the rest of their freedom too.
