Despite money and ads, poll shows O'Donnell still badly trails Coons in Delaware Senate race

BEN EVANS

Associated Press

10:35 a.m. CDT, October 28, 2010

The survey released Thursday by Fairleigh Dickinson University-PublicMind shows Coons holding a commanding lead of 21 points, with 57 percent of likely voters saying they will vote for Coons compared to just 36 percent for O'Donnell.

I don't believe this $#it for one minute. It is blatant propoganda from obanga

I love it when polls like these "hide" who is actually in the "likely voter" sample. In other words, they don't say how many men were in the group......just the percentage of men for each candidate. Same for women and minorities.

You also gotta love this part "Survey results are also subject to non-sampling error. This kind of error, which cannot be measured, arises from a number of factors including, but not limited to, non-response (eligible individuals refusing to be interviewed), question wording, the order in which questions are asked, and variations among interviewers."

Ya think?

Castle is what could win this seat in this cycle. Period. O’Donnell had no chance and all the whining about Rove is just a bunch of crap

Did they already have the election while I wasn’t looking?

What happened to “primary is over, get behind the candidate”? Why am I sure that if Castle were the nominee you’d be in some “We hate mike castle” thread saying how we should quit the naysaying and get behind the candidate?

They voted for Joe Biden from 1973 on. Need I say more?

One thing about this thread it sure has exposed the RINOs. Maybe even some dimoKKKRATS in the mix doing their dirty work.

Too bad this race sucked in precious resources that could have been used in closer races that were actually winnable.

Examples?

I sent money to O'Donnell and I live a long way from Delaware, you can't say I did not "get behind the candidate".

But I have no illusions that she can win.

To say we should always support conservatives over RINO's is not the same thing as to say the voters will always vote for a conservative, no matter how lightweight that conservative is.

And yeah, liberal lightweights (Patty Murray, Obama) will always get a pass from the LSM. We can't do a damn thing about that. We have to run conservative candidates who have near-impeccable backgrounds. OR WE LOSE.

OK FOLKS....
Before you get all teary-eyed, remember something....

CHRISTINE O’DONNELL did her job, and she DID IT WELL. And she did it it one of the deepest BLUE states in the country.

Castle is gone, a message is delivered, and she has stolen so much air out of the room that Harry Reid will lose to Sharon Angle in Nevada.

She drew the attention of the mostly-Democrat Big Media, the leftist bloggers, and everyone else on the left away from other races.

They were so busy laughing at her, that they stopped paying attention to Sharon Angle.

Saturday Night Live did skits about O’Donnell, not Rand Paul. MSNBC’s biased morons were too busy laughing at O’, to see what was happening until it was too late.

And the MONEY...
Always the money.

No, I don’t, which is suspicious. They state that they have weighted respondents by age and sex, but list any of those demographics or the screen by which they determined they had a ‘likely voter’ (which means that what they used was probably very weak).

Godring is a Castle Rino though

I don't know Godring, but I am not at all a Castle supporter and never have been one.

Do dishonesty and misrepresentation rub off from a candidate to her supporters?!?

She’s been tarred as a Grade-A, certified loon by the media, and I’m sorry to say but some of the decisions in her camp have not been the greatest. Whoever’s idea it was for her to do that “I’m not a witch, I’m just like you” ad should be publicly flogged.

“We could be in control of the Senate if we’d have captured Biden’s old seat. Unfortunately that’s not going to happen now.”

**************************************************************

Surely, you’re not foolish enough to suggest you wish that phony sore-loser left-wing pseudo-Republican Mike Castle was still in the race, are you???

First, I’m in no way convinced he was ever a shoo-in to win as the Republican establishment would love to have us all believe. Second, he would be an even WORSE RINO than Snowe, Collins, Graham, and McCain. What good is having a Senate majority if you’re electing unapologetic left-wingers disguised as Republicans to achieve one???

Again, they have October 6 results for comparison. One of the questions has it as a second line, and most have it as a column. Go to the October 6 press release if you want to see the breakdown on the October 6 results.

Sadly, it also hurt conservatives who were doing well in state races, as well as those in other states. She has made for nice scare tactics.

Your tendency to point out all of O'Donnell's flaws seems to indicate you're also not one of her supporters either.

Would you care to enlighten us as to just who you DO support?
