I think the issue is rather simple...
Liberals have a problem facing the truth when it results in self examination leading to conviction.
Anyone who CHOOSES to deny a truth to protect their own feelings and/or judgment of self on a consistent basis will eventually become a full fledged liberal.
I think God said it best when He told us that “The Truth will set you free.”... and yes... I know to Whom He was referring.
When my girls (6 and 4) are being selfish or bossy or whiney or proclaiming entitlement,
I tell them “stop that or you’ll grow up to be a democRat”.
They usually say, indignantly, “I’ll NEVER grow up to be a democRat”.
