Stanley Kurtz hit an Organizing for America nerve during Barack Obamas campaign for president. Stanley, a Harvard-educated social anthropologist, is a senior fellow at the Ethics and Public Policy Center and has written for National Review and National Review Online for over a decade. When he started not only asking questions but digging into Barack Obamas academic and activist past, the campaign tried to shut him down literally, organizing a phone slamdown on Chicago radio.
Well, this still is America. And so Stanley has done what he is trained to do research and present evidence to present a complete picture, in this case of the man who is currently president of the United States. The fruit of that project is a gripping, meticulous new book, Radical-in-Chief: Barack Obama and the Untold Story of American Socialism, which he discusses with me here.
KATHRYN JEAN LOPEZ: What is so bad about being a Radical-in-Chief?
STANLEY KURTZ: There are two key problems. First, Obamas slow-motion socialism undercuts liberty and prosperity on behalf of a highly questionable view of fairness. Second, and at least as disturbing, Obamas practice of disguising his ideological views is bad for democracy, which depends upon informed public choice.

3) He is evil incarnate.
4) He has been allowed to cover up and lock away ALL of his past.
5) He is an enemy of everything America stands for and he stands against GOD and with satan.

Love it.
Starts out to write that Obama isn’t a socialist but finds overwhelming evidence that he is......
Lib, if you hadn’t read the entire article, please try to take the time to do it. Along with Dinesh D’Souza’s book, I think Kurtz does more to unmask Zer0’s “slow-motion socialism”(LOL!) and ugly intentions than anything I’ve read recently.
The Midwest Academy is something which deserves a lot of scrutiny.
When I began my post-campaign research for this book, my inclination was to downplay or dismiss evidence of explicit socialism in Obamas background. I thought the socialism issue was an unprovable and unnecessary distraction from the broader question of Obamas ultra-liberal inclinations. I was wrong. Evidence that suggests Obama is a socialist, I am now convinced, is real, important, and profoundly relevant to the present."
This is a profound statement by Kurtz. As a good scientist, the evidence didn't support his hypothesis, so he wrote about his findings are revised his hypothesis. This is good research.
Even more importantly, these are important findings. Kurtz is one of the good guys. It's too bad the book didn't come out in July or August this year or in July/August 2012.

A racist of color. Him and his wife.
Zer0 the Marxist community organizer and his Rats are at war with the sensible people of the nation. Community organizer Saul Alinsky's 1971 book, 'Rules for Radicals,' is their playbook. Zer0 bamboozled millions... gave us the old 'okee doke,' never intending to 'deliver.' He intended to redistribute wealth.
The foreign occupier is a menace to our nation and damn near everyone living here.
Power has been abused and exploited by Democrats. Forget the polls, forget the media spin. Go to the ballot box and put an end to the Dem Party on November 2, 2010.
The Rats are shovel-ready for the dust bin of history.
'So, once again, we have the power. We've got this man in office. I think
we're all proud of Barack and his accomplishments. Everybody I know in
our communities are praying for us. Every day we feel that. And let me
just tell your listeners that it means all the world to us to know that there
are prayer circles out there and people who are keeping the spirits clean
around us.'
'...keeping the spirits clean around us' - Is that a pagan kind of thing or a voodoo thing? Does she believe in witch doctors, medicine men, or shamans offering some protection from the spirit world, where gods and spirits are found in trees, rocks, plants, slurpees and other things.
Time to have Rev Wright to the White House for a prayer meeting.

The whole socialism argument kicked off by Obamas candidacy and presidency has been off-base. It is grounded in ignorance of what modern American socialism really is. Agree or disagree with my argument about Obama, my book shows what much of contemporary socialism has become. It proves that stealth socialism is a real phenomenon, whether you think Obama embraces that view or not. It gives readers access to an important but almost totally unknown political world. It is a world Obama lived in for years. All that may not resolve our arguments about the presidents political views, but it puts the debate itself on an entirely new footing.
This info needs to be spread widely in order to re-frame the socialist vs. progressive vs. liberal discussions. I'm thinking seriously of buying the book.
I have his book on order... I listened to Mark Levin interview him a few days ago... posted about it on FR. I think his book is going to be a revelation to some. I think everything obama does is on purpose and that purpose is evil at its core.

Very interesting article. I think I’ll pick up a copy of Kurtz’ book. Fall has fell and I’m accumulating my winter reading pile now...
What was interesting if you had patience to wade thru it was the reviews particularly one of Stephen Diamond. Seems all those academic socialists/marxists/trotskyites do all day is split hairs over who wants to destroy the country in what manner.
Diamond contends Obama is a top down stalinist who wants to impose socialism on us. Where he, the noble fellow, is a democratic lib who merely wants to empower the labor unions to let us get socialism from the bottom up. He isn’t a statist but would deliver us to the SEIU.
Amazing bunch, not so many of them as they would have us believe, but all insidious and dangerous.
I see it as more useful for dealing with “normal” or “traditional” Democrats than anything else.
Many know there is something alien about Zer0 but can’t put their finger on it...the book really spells it out for them.
Yesterday, Rasmussen mentioned that 14% of people polled wanted a socialized America. Obviously, the only problem people like that would have with Obama is that he is too “slow-motion.”
The other salient point, the best point, is that nobody will get all the permutations of this,,is he a socialist, is he a statist, is her a bureoucrat.
But the big point is that ONCE PEOPLE KNOW HE LIED ABOUT HIMSELF, ABOUT EVERYTHING, THEY WILL KICK HIM OUT.
So exposing the lies is as important as calling him a label.
Kurtz is a patriot.
He tried to warn the electorate in the fall of 2008 prior to the elections of Obama’s radical associations, as he had gotten his hands finally on some documents as a result of FOIA requests relating to the Annenberg Challenge and Woods Organization. The lame stream media silenced him by ignoring him.
But let’s be honest, if Juan McCain had been elected it would be a slow, continual walk on the same path. At least now with Obama’s great push to rapidly move forward the statists/marxists have been exposed. It’s up to the people now to reverse course by purging Washington of these elitists.
You may be right. I think the heirs of the 60’s radicals are embedded everywhere, in every social program, in the unions, in academia. They are everywhere and are tools of the very few who control things on the left. Those are in academia, think tanks, foundations, Academies, etc. I knew the 60’s radicals and these are what they were, just hidden, without camo and guns and bombs but equally bent on destroying.
An interesting point by Diamond in his review of Kurtz’’s book on amazon, is that the socialists in the midwest used conservatives with an economic interest in their machinations. THe conservatives were unaware being bent on helping the poor. That was fascinating to me. They were economic conservatives without the religious underpinnings.
Well said.

Okay, that's a scary sentence.
Exactly, BHO essentailly welcomes his own party’s defeat as a price to pay for the prize.
