"One thing I think we ought to do, other than blocking his agenda and controlling spending, is trying to solve a hard problem like Social Security, and if we show our willingness to work with him on that, I think that would be well-received by the American people," Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) told WVOC-AM.

I hope the people of South Carolina have had enough of this asswipe to throw him out in 2012. That would be a true pleasure. Unfortunately we'll have to wait till 2014.

Why couldn’t SC conservatives have found a strong primary opponent in 2008?

Right you are. He was first elected in '02. I did the math.
Thanks for being respectful in correction. :-)

2Cr 6:14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?
The answer, of course, is none. The sooner that people realize that this is foremost and above anything else a spiritual battle the better outcomes we will have. The Democrats are darkness personified. The Republicans need to be light.

Does Miss Lindsey recall that the dems CHANGED THE LOCKS on the door to the room where negotiations were taking place so GOP couldn’t even get in? I believe it was during healthcare discussions in congress, IIRC. Sheesh. This guy needs to take his dollies and go home.

Wrong.......if he supports what we want he can join us or veto, giving the GOP something to run on 2012...

What if South Carolina, after this election, managed to pass through their state house the option to recall a sitting US Senator via petition?
What if we did not have to wait four years to get rid of Lindsey Graham?

The whole reason Social Security is in the mess it is in, is because asshats like you spent it illegally.
Had you left it alone like you were supposed to, and perhaps even invested it to grow interest for all of us, it would be in fantastic shape and we would actually have had something worth while.
Letting a Democrat in any form, anywhere near a Citizen fund like this, is a guaranteed disaster. This includes you Gramnesty!

All we need is legislation out of Columbia. Other states can recall senators, why not South Carolina?
