Democrat Mark Dayton has raised and spent nearly twice as much on his campaign for Minnesota governor as Republican Tom Emmer and four times as much as the Independence Party's Tom Horner.

Emmer had raised $2.7 million and spent $2.2 million through mid-October.

He raised $2 million in individual contributions, while Dayton collected $884,000 from individual donors.

Rasmussen puts Dayton(D) up 44 to 41 over Emmer(R).

Horner(I) has only 10 points.

And that’s with Dayton outspending Emmer.
