The same bill could make it illegal to create any “sanctuary cities” that protect illegals against federal law.
Why did you vote early?
Just in case I get hit by a bus or die in a horrible accident involving farming machinery before next Tuesday.
Interesting. Didn’t know that about cell phones and electronic voting machines.... But we just had the typical long form to fill out by darkening in the ovals and inserting it in the counting machine on the way out the door.
(I was number 3774 in my district, BTW)
(I know the question wasn’t directed at me, but it’s a good general question)
1) I might not be available on that day due to circumstances.
2) I COULDN’T WAIT! :)
From what I understand, the proof of citizenship requirement was struck, but the provision requiring ID to vote was kept. I downloaded the decision last night, but haven’t had a chance to read it.
Ping!
Even Rush Limbaugh has picked up on this scam.
Why can real republicans figure it out?
It used to be people volunteered to be poll watchers because elections are a sacred trust of the American people. One side watched the other.
Now NGOs are paid to run the polls, and isn’t it convenient to get paid for screwing over the opponent? Most people are so undiscerning they support the very groups , for example the myriad environmental groups, and therefore support the demise of this country when they allow those people to run the polls.
You can’t wait in order to have a fair, legal election? I don’t know you but I’ll tell anyone this, you and those like you, don’t understand your responsibility as an American, and your priorities are messed up.
The country ran the elections fairly for the most part for years. Do not contribute to the destruction of the American system.
It is an overreach by a court with no jurisdiction in the matter. State sovereignty prevails here. Brewer should just ignore the ruling and direct that the Law passed by the voters be enforced. What are the Feds going to do? Go whine on TV? Write a stern op-ed in the NYT? That’s about it. It has to start somewhere - States need to start standing up for themselves against this tyranny. I would hope Rick Perry has the stones when its Texas’ turn.
