Woman at Rand Pauls campaign appearance (A MUST READ)
ResistNet ^ | October 26, 2010 | toecurlingconservative

Posted on 10/26/2010 3:51:02 PM PDT by Tolerance Sucks Rocks

I see another party here on Resistnet has posted a detail lacking discussion regarding the young woman attempting to approach Rand Paul with a mock award she was going to "present" him at his Louisville appearance.

Video's are provided, you get to honestly be the judge of what happened after she's down and being detained.

Any rude crude or wishing of ill-harm/death comments directed towards her or anyone working in conjunction to detain her and this discussion will hopefully result in you being warned or banned. This is a friendly warning.

Don't be stuck on stupid, watch what your fingers are tempted to type before your logic kicks in high gear.

He says he has severe back injuries and simply can't use his arms very well, so he used his foot.

"The only reason I stepped on the head on an immobilized women is because I'm an invalid. I'm handicapped. My arms don't work. If my arms did work I would have wrapped them around her throat while the others were holding her down and choked the life out of her. But I couldn't. Like I said, I'm handicapped, so I did the best I could, and just stepped on her head; while others were holding her down; after she was turned away from the candidate."

Why can't you people accept the obvious fact that what this guy did was stupid in the extreme, and certainly harmful to the Paul candidacy? There are morons jerks on all up and down the political spectrum. It just so happens that one of them, that works for a candidate we here support, revealed himself the other day, at a very inopportune time. Hopefully the only result will be a lift time of ignominy for the twit, and not six years of a piece of trash dem in the senate.

“The man” did nothing but hold her down when she struggled.

Just another case of blame the victims for the deeds of the perp.

Because, as it turns out, I see absolutely nothing wrong in dealing with space aliens in that way, and to belong to moveon.org ~ to be one of their puppets ~ in this day and age, is a very strong suggestion that you are simply not thuman.

So, "You people" is of the impression "some others", you perhaps, aren't people at all.

Now, want to come up and check out my waterboard setup?

Because it's not 'obvious' and he wasn't 'acting stupidly', Obama.

why did she refuse treatment

injuries that are inconsistent with her story perhaps?

Also, I find it "interesting" that the incident happened in front of a news camera.

I'm just sayin'

You're security. People are nuts, the crowd is polarized and vocal, and someone comes bolting out of the crowd running up behind the candidate with something in their hand, wearing a wig.

What do you do?

You stop them first, ask questions later.

Whether you are a paid pro or a volunteer--or just an amatuer who got involved, failure to do so could cost the life of the principal.

In retrospect, this was a set-up, and the guy with his foot on her head was a plant.

That the persons who stopper this person only grabbed her and wrestled her down (end of the play act), is to their credit.

I have read/heard/seen nothing to indicate this person sustained any serious injury. Remarkable restraint, not brutality.

She just as easily have had a gun, grenade, or other weapon or destructive device and malicious intent.

An employee of Paul, that has issued an apology, is a MoveOn plant?

Did you notice she was stopped, and laying in the gutter being held down, when the foot came in? Any possible danger was over. Does that clear fact matter?

Do you see anything wrong with kicking away victory in a senate election by giving the MSM and the left something to beat your candidate over the head with in the closing days?

-- why did Profitt, who is Paul's county campaign co-ordinator admit that he did it and publicly apologize for it? Why did the police serve him with a summons?a --

Rand Paul's ex-county coordinator & head stomper Tim Profitt demands apology ... - Yobie Benjamin writing at San Francisco Chronicle (blog)

Tim Profitt, Rand Paul for Senate Bourbon County, Kentucky Coordinator with the candidate. Profitt has admitted to stomping his foot on Lauren Valle's head.

"I don't think it's that big of a deal," Profitt told WKYT. "I would like for her to apologize to me to be honest with you."

Rand Paul Head-Stomper was the Campaign's Bourbon County Coordinator - Blue Wave News

"I'm sorry that it came to that, and I apologize if it appeared overly forceful, but I was concerned about Rand's safety," Tim Profitt told The Associated Press. ...

Profitt said the fight never would have occurred if police officers had intervened earlier.

"A friend of mine went up to three policeman before Rand got there, and told them about the girl who was standing there with that wig on and that she was getting ready to do something," Profitt said. "The policemen looked at him and said that's not our job."

The summons is an order by the police (not the DA, there is no arrest, no indictment) to appear before a Fayette County District Court judge for the assault on Lauren Valle.

Profitt was a volunteer, the position is not a paid position created by the candidate or his campaign organization.

Worse behavior than this (beating of Don Adams by teamsters) was endorsed by ‘Rat officials (’Rat Ed Rendell) during the Clinton Administration.

Let me put this in precise terms. Had I been there, and many I know, the person would have had need of medical treatment.

This is a perfect setup in that the reaction is supposed to be a softening of security, which makes the principal vulnerable.

Hopefully the people around the candidate won't fall for that crap.

Watch "Cops" sometime and get back to me on the whole thing.

Now, I can't say the foot on the head was good theater, but the person doing that didn't stomp their head, they just put their foot there.

This gives them the opportunity to know what the person is doing while they look for a second threat if they are a professional.

As for an apology, issuing apologies is damnear a kneejerk reaction to unseemly incidents when the court of public opinion is involved, and often those apologies are unwarranted. This is already being spun as an attack on a poor defenseless person in the crowd, not someone who ran up after the candidate from behind. Sure they are sorry this happened--it;s bad press, whether or not it is deserved by the campaign.

Was the person who put their foot on the head an employee of the campaign? Link please.

You must have missed something ~ it's not a big story on the net anymore. The woman didn't even have her wounds checked at the hospital.

The Democrats got caught with a piece of campaign street theatre where any deeper investigation will show them guilty of setting it up.

Haven't been reading the comment section of any news stories, have you? "Brown shirted Republicans stomping on heads" is everywhere; and will be for months to come. Manna from heaven for SEIU and other real thuggish organizations.

Yeah, the best stuff is on last night, but today the story itself isn't being covered.

btw, President Andrew Jackson faced an assassin on his own and beat him down with his silver tipped cane.

Better to stop them in their tracks than go out on a gurney.

He can’t post a link because the actual video makes a lie of his claims. He’s just a Paul-hater of the “useful idiot” variety.
