NEW YORK (Adweek) With double-digit ratings growth this season, Spanish-language broadcaster Univision is off to a better start than any of the major English-language networks, and the future is promising as well.
The new census is expected to show a nearly 45% increase in the number of Hispanic Americans since 2000, to a total of 50 million. This couples with continuing audience erosion at the major networks and Univision's recent deal with Mexican programer Grupo Televisa, which locks up the source of much the network's popular programing for at least another decade.

Another shining victory for multi-culturalism...we're going to have one fifth of Mexico's population living in the United States and the largest network is going to be a spanish speaking one that caters to the third world takeover. You can be sure that neither of the two political parties will take any strong measures against illegal immigration.

Is it all Spanish speaking? Or English speaking?

Let me put it this way...it is a channel for Mexican nationals living in the United States...it is Spanish only.

This isn’t multicultural programming. They don’t even offer English subtitles or Secondary Audio Programming.

Ever watch? MORE CLEAVAGE ALL THE TIME. MORE BOTTOMS ALL THE TIME.
This is old fashioned "women are for men" programming.
And early morning? Before papa goes to work ~ WOW!!!
I've never seen any Spanish used in the entertainment programs that is more complex than what you can handle with highschool Spanish.
Somebody has made a erroneous judgment that only Spanish speaking peoples watch this ~

This has nothing to do with Affirmative Action. This is a real man's program!
And it's 24/7! Wahoo.

Those that speak english are busy working - the reason viewership is so high is people getting government handouts watching the tube all day.

My Cuban-born wife watches the Novelas, I must admit I do enjoy sitting down and watching Sabado Gigante, Don Francisco is a very interesting person with an interesting background, his parents were German Jews who fled the Nazis for Chile in the 1930s.

Heh - if NBC, ABC & CBS had as much boobage, sprayed-on jeans and gargantuan cleavage spilling over shirts as Univision does, their ratings would be going up too.
