Democrats committing voter fraud in Fairfield County Connecticut nursing homes
Hillbuzz ^ | October 25, 2010 | hillbuzz, & Contributors

Posted on 10/26/2010 5:38:54 AM PDT by Seattle Conservative

We just got an email from a woman in Connecticut who heard a caller on a radio show tonight say she witnessed Democrats filling out ballots for unresponsive, dementia-addled patients in nursing homes. The caller identified two facilities by name.

Can someone track down the names of those two nursing homes?

For some reason, when a lot of you send these tips to us you leave out a lot of vital info…and then we need to sleuth this stuff out. In this instance, it would have been great to know the radio station call letters, the show and hosts’ names, and of course the names of the nursing homes.

We know you get excited when things happen, but just imagine how much more effective you could be if you stepped everything up a notch and answered all the Who, What, When, Where, and Why of something so that all the info needed was right there in one place.

You know the media won’t report on anything that makes the Left look bad…so if we want to expose these crooks we all need to work together.

We are willing to shout about voter fraud from the top of the mountains…but we need your help to get all the facts to really nail the Left for what they are up to.

Consider yourself deputized in this effort. It is now your job through November 2012 to work every day to bust Democrat fraud.

Who else heard about this Fairfield County Connecticut nursing home fraud?

Heads up to FReepers in CT.

Here's what some of the contributors to Hillbuzz are reporting: It was on the Lisa Wexler show (they indicated that there are links up now). Here are the nursing homes mentioned by a Hillbuzz contributor (post #3):

"Smith House Health Care Center

Edge Hill Health Care Center

Both in Stamford, CT"

In addition, Post #8 links to this: "Republican State Party Chairman Chris Healy Wednesday filed a complaint with the State Elections Enforcement Commission alleging that 250 absentee ballot applications were illegally obtained from local officials."

Don't worry, the DOJ is on the job nationwide to make sure no election shenanigans are going on...Even if they have to detain every Republican voter in sight.

Democrats are more desperate than ever.

They used to have the patience to wait until oldsters died before voting for them.

Thank God we have all this early voting to give the democrats a full month to steal an election. [/sarc]

This is a standard demrat tactic. My leftist sister regularly saw that my dimensia-handicapped mother voted. She had Power of Attorney and was legaly identified as my Mother’s primary care giver. Therefore, there was little I could do about. Particularly given that I didn’t realize she was doing this until very late in the game.

My sister was doing this for at least 15 years and my Mother’s been dead for 8 years. Lefties are without an iota of honor or morality.

Yes, this does happen. I witnessed it first hand durrng the 2000 election. Some of these people were comatose! The person “helping” them vote would basically put the pencil in the semideads hand and “help” them put their mark on the ballot. Most of the time they would close the door so no one could witness their dirty deed. I know someone who lost a local election because of nursing home votes. He was ahead and had pretty much been declared the winner on the radio. Went to the election commision and they said there were just a few absentee ballots left to count but it wouldn’t change the results. Well, all the absentee ballots were from the nursing home, all for the democrat. The guy lost by 40 votes. One guy was bragging about helping his comatose mother- in- law vote for Al Gore.

This early voting has GOT to stop. Any ideas how we can bring that about?

This has gone on in Dubuque, Iowa for at least 20 years.

Forgive me for focusing this rant on you, but ... MAN UP!

I’ll be damned if I wore the uniform for 33 years
so I could see this pollution of the sacred free ballot. It’s no joke, it’s criminal, it’s treason! Did you file criminal complaints when you saw it? Did you file lawsuits? Did you step in and physically prevent it, as in grab the fake ballot out of their hand, tear it up and dare them to sue you? Did you even call them out on it? Doesn’t sound like it. And that’s the answer to your question. Sheesh.

It’s time for every conservative or honest lib in your family to make sure she goes to jail for this. If we don’t stop what we can see how can we hope to stop what we can’t see.

Unfortunately the hurdle is high. First you have to discover the fraud, then you have to get the public to believe it. You also have to make them understand just how one sided it is and that elected officials are ignoring it. The MSM just brushes it off as no big deal. Progressives believe the end justifies the means and voter fraud is a perfectly acceptable method of achieving their goals.

The only way to fix the problem is to implement a better validation method. A central system nationwide on a closed network that is audited by multiple “foundations” (Heritage, Ford, etc). Those foundations would have to be selected and vetted by the parties and ideally voted on during primaries.

Centralizing the system would greatly minimize the available cheating schemes and force accountability on one organization instead of 50. Standards would be uniform and would aid in identifying irregularities. It also limits the number of individuals involved in the process which ultimately reduces the opportunities for fraud (people = fraud). The process of collecting and aggregating the ballots, as we have seen (Florida), seems to be where the majority of problems crop up.

The electoral system would work the same way but the method of collection would change.

I would extend voting to a single 24 hour period with all polls opening and closing at the same time nationwide.

People who don’t want to stand in line can stay home.

There was a thread the other day about a woman turned away at the polls for wearing an Obama shirt. She was a perfect example of what’s wrong with early voting. She had time to first run to the media and say she was thinking about trying again in a few days. If it had been a single day vote, I’m guessing she would have simply gone home and stayed there.

We need to get rid of MLK's birthday as a national holiday and replace it with VOTING Day, where everything is closed and your duty is to get out and vote.

Don't confuse "early voting" with absentee voting, it is the latter that really enables fraud. Consider ... early voting is when polling centers are open for a person to come in, presumably present credentials, and cast their vote. Let me repeat, vote in person. This is new and I hope you will see it is a good thing.

Absentee voting has been around for a long, long time and involves a paper ballot filled out "somewhere" out of view of election officials, presumably by the voter but who knows? This is where the real fraud comes into play, where the dead, comatose, and demented are reanimated long enough to fill out their ballot.

Early voting has its share of problems but it has benefits too. IMHO now that we have early voting, absentee ballots should be strictly limited to those physically unable to make it to the polling stations with additional safeguards added. For the report in question, someone should be sent to prison.
