When someone selling flags outside of a Tea Party event is hit and called racial terms, it isn’t news. When people go to vote and are intimidated by armed black panthers, it isn’t news. However, let one wacko moveon.org lady get roughed up.... NEWS!!! Just a thought.
To: tobyhill
Correct. It did not appear that she was on the up and up.

Detention doesn’t include stepping on her head. Did you even see the video? Once she was on the ground and completely under control some asshole very intentionally stepped on her head. That my friend changes the incident entirely.

Clearly a case of assault with intent... this bitch was a hit bitch from soros. I hope she suffered some sort of permanent damage.

No one stepped on her head. She was forced to the ground and another man puts his foot on her upper back and gives a little “love” push. You can see someone pulling off a blond wig just before she is forced to the ground.

All it says is one guy may have gone over the line. The police didn't charge anyone because there was no apparent injuries and it's clear she instigated the incident.

Would you “feel” that way if the award had been a .380 or a small 9mm semi auto? We cannot take chances and these media planted rubes need to know that our candidates are protected. Try this stunt with a group of aflcio thugs and get back to me... oh wait... there would be no you left to get back to me. I have no pity and no such regrets.

Reminds me of that stupid girl who duked it out with a bull dozer in Israel and got run over.
Her family is suing and bitching too.
Oh well, wrong place doing the wrong thing at the wrong time.
Morning tobyhill.

One thing is for sure. The media is going to use it to full extent against Paul.

That's for sure but I think most Americans have had quite enough of Moveon.

Just saw the video on Fox. People will go to jail. This woman was assaulted, thrown to the ground and held there while some thug stepped on her head. I saw the video too. The woman was wrestled to the ground. The guy pushed her down with his foot on her lower back, which slipped to her head, in a way which seemed to be attempting to communicate to the woman "you stay on the ground and stop trying to get up", rather than a stomp intended to injure.
In these days, somebody approaching a candidate in disguise with an object is likely to be treated roughly. That said, the video is not helpful to Rand Paul's side.

No one stepped on her head. She was forced to the ground and another man puts his foot on her upper back I agree to a point. With everyone saying "stomping on her head" I was expecting a different visual than what I saw.
Still stupid. Almost too stupid.
This is plastered all over the lefty blogs now.
The guy is on film and is now vying with looter guy, tourist guy and the squirrel for internet stardom.
I'm curious to hear how he defends himself.

Paul did not orchestrate this. Miller did not orchestrate the arrest in Alaska. Yet somehow they look bad?

Had a similar event here in Alaska against Joe Miller, a very very liberal news reporter was trying to get in Joe Millers face, his intent was an altercation of absolutely any sort, he was behaving like a Moslem suicide bomber in a certain manner. This is the ploy of the deranged left, they will commit themselves to anything for publicity. With the MSM playing along its a strategic gamble to steer the herds of political cattle.

The bystanders were correct. It wouldn’t be unusual for a nut to try to harm a candidate....any public person in any public setting, actually.
Stand back and don’t make efforts a bodily contact unless invited to by the public person’s party.
It’s only reasonable for everyone to be cautious. Especially in this age where violent acts earn a nut instant media fame.

Foot on her lower back that slipped up to her head? Get real and take another look. I guarantee...that guy will be in handcuffs as soon as he’s identified.
