I have some very grave news for you. We are leading Harry Reid in the polls and meeting our early vote goals--and yet, Sharron Angle could still lose.
As Sharron Angle's campaign attorney, I am sorry to report that the Democrats and their cronies are up to their same old tricks, of trying to manipulate the election in hopes of skewing the results in their favor.
Two days ago, the Democratic Secretary of State announced that voters can be provided "free food" at "voter turnout events." Harry Reid has been offering free food and, according to other reports, some Democratic allies such as teachers' unions are offering gift cards in return for a vote for Reid.
Before we were even able to document the reported infractions to report to the authorities, the Democrat Secretary of State slammed the door shut on preventing this behavior and issued a public statement permitting these ACORN-style tactics. THESE are the kinds of shenanigans that can turn this race... Harry Reid intends to steal this election if he can't win it outright. As a result, we need to deploy literally dozens of election law attorneys and poll watchers to combat these tactics ...
Understand, EVERYTHING we have worked for in the last year could be destroyed by dirty tricks and criminal acts in the next 8 days. As Sharron's first line of defense on these matters I am absolutely committed to making sure this won't happen...
What Harry Reid is doing is clearly illegal. Nevada law (NRS 293.700) provides that, “A person who bribes, offers to bribe, or use and other corrupt means, directly or indirectly, to influence any elector in giving his or her vote or to deter the elector from giving it is guilty of a category D felony and shall be punished as provided in NRS 193.130.”
We've seen evidence of this sort of voter 'enticement' by groups such as ACORN - where, in 2008, two ACORN workers in Milwaukee were accused of offering pre-paid gasoline cards or restaurant gift cards to people in exchange for registration.
John Fund wrote in his book Stealing Elections: How Voter Fraud Threatens Our Democracy, cited reports from the Sioux Falls Argus-Leader (South Dakota) and the election in 2004, where certain residents were quoted saying that "people on the streets were saying you go vote, they would give you gas money, $10, maybe a pack of cigarettes..."
Now, this week in Las Vegas, at our election hotline, we received reports that some teachers' union representatives were offering Starbucks cards to people to get them to vote for Harry Reid. It is even more disturbing and may be possible that they are using their influence and authority as educators to entice students on behalf of Reid.
Here’s the bottom line: when the powerful are threatened, they will do anything to retain their position. It's clear now that Harry Reid's campaign is even willing to skirt the laws of Nevada to do it.
Is there any question that they will do the same on Election Day?
The right to vote is a precious one - and it carries with it somber responsibilities. The Democrats' willingness to allow voters to be enticed with a promise of any thing of value is a debasement of the process- and it may just destroy everything we've worked for...

We have a representative democracy. Harry Reid obviously represents those people who’s votes are for sale, cheap. That explains a lot.

No, it defines treason, but leaves it up to Congress to set penalties for it.
It would be difficult to make a case that the 'Rat SOS's action fits the definition of treason, but it certainly is criminal, since it violates the Nevada statute cited in the posted article.
Who would have thought we'd need that sentence after high-school.

here in california the county recorders office will hand out early voting ballots to anyone with a heartbeat so as not to dissenfranchize the homeless "citizens"
They should post hard evidence of it on the website to show everyone what a crook harry reid is.

During the first Daley machine, voting booths were often located in the basement of your ward alderman. He would welcome you at the basement door, hand you a drink, and then go “help you vote”. You had better let him help you vote, or your garbage wouldn’t get picked up on a regular basis, the snow plows would leave large deposits in front of your garage, your water meter would go nuts, and that large pothole in your ally in in front of your house would grow all year round.
During the 2nd Daley administration, that has been outlawed, but, for the first couple of years, folks in Cook county noticed the Blue Tidal Wave on election day. That is, every City of Chicago vehicle, out in neighboring towns, going door to door, asking if you need help to vote. Asking is a special word in Chicago. It’s sort of like “who sent ya”. They would especially ‘ask’ in the Polish neighborhoods and Hispanic where large groups of illegals were to found. The feds deemed that a “no no” as well, so it was stopped.
Next came the gang-bangers going door to door for Daley. Yes, Gang Bangers. Black Gangster Disciples, and Latin Kings, roving in bands wearing ties and sport jackets. But folks in the neighborhoods knew who they were. They would come to your door to see if you needed any “help” getting to the polling place.
He caught grief for that as well, as it seems they all carried democrat literature. Funny how they were all concerned citizens. The backlash even came from policemen, who were now faced with gang-bangers going door to door, intimidated old folks, but they were encouraged to do so, by their boss... Da Mayor.
The Daleys always used to “help” the homeless on election day. Free rides to soup kitchens and a warm sandwich is all..... Heck, they’d even pick you up! Oh, and free smokes and booze if you can recruit a few friends. But, they didn’t know what happened once you got in the booth, they were just ensuring that all citizens voted! That was the main thing! Yeah Right.
That has all stopped pretty much now, they have a new scam, its called Motor Voter. You go get a drivers license, in which you only need to provide proof of where you live (proof is a water bill or gas bill, in anyones name), then, they ask you if you want to register to vote. You say yes, they then ask you 2 questions, and 2 questions only: a) Are you a US Citizen, b) do you expect to reside in this residence for the upcoming election. No proof of being a US Citizen is required. It is your word. Nothing more.
Now I hear some are calling for all those in the US to have voting rights, not just citizens. Whats next? Why not just let every person in every country cast a ballot, well, except our boys in uniform, because Lord knows, we can’t get a ballot out to them.
That ticks me off too, if no ballots go out to the Boys n Girls doing our work, then that state should lose all Fed funding ASAP, until they get their ballots! All of it, every single dime, cut it off!
Sorry for the rant.
I say whatever it cost we need to take an election apart vote by vote and find out just what is going on and expose them. We always let them get away with it because we want to be good sports and it cost too much money and isn't good for the people to put them through too much grief. Well we need to stop this attitude and start fighting the biggest battle of all and that is against cheating!
