Did the President of the United States Describe Some Americans as Enemies?
National Review ^

Posted on 10/25/2010 12:36:27 PM PDT by roses of sharon

Via The Hill:

Latino voters, the president said, would have an opportunity to send a message to Republicans, who Obama accused of “politicizing” immigration reform and the border security debate. Obama said “pressure has to be put on the Republican Party” if immigration reform is to become a reality.

“And if Latinos sit out the election instead of saying, we’re gonna punish our enemies and we’re gonna reward our friends who stand with us on issues that are important to us, if they don’t see that kind of upsurge in voting in this election, then I think it’s gonna be harder — and that’s why I think it’s so important that people focus on voting on November 2,” he said.

Before the election we were told this nitwit would bring people together. Sounds like he’s trying to start a civil war.

The “BIG DEAL’ is that he was elected President of ALL AMERICANS, not just those that agree with his polluted agenda.

Bush knew this, and executed that way.

Obama obviously does not.

Obama is starting to get scary.

Frankly I'm very surprised there has not been a Ruby Ridge or Branch Davidian type incident for Eric Holder and the Baraqqis to show us who's boss.

there’s a huge difference between posters on internet forums and the POTUS...

good to see the child in the WH once again uphold the presidency by being the first post racial president...

He’s the friggin’ POTUS. That is the difference. The POTUS is you know the leader over all of us not just his political party.

I imagine that even the POTUS has some enemies within his own country, most leaders do, don’t they?

Barack Obama’s hatred of the United States and American people runs deep. It is the basis of his entire governing philosophy.

Yes, Obama is living his father's anti-colonialist dream of emasculating the 'oppressor'- in this case, the American people.

From D'Souza's new book 'The Roots of Obam's Rage': Think about what this means. The most powerful country in the world is being governed according to the dreams of a Luo tribesman of the 1950s."

That Americans elected such a man as their president is almost incomprehensible.

Voter apathy, a yearning to finally exorcise the (white) guilt of slavery and a corrupt media blatantly shilling for Obama combined with a mediocre Republican candidate running an often incoherent campaign that never seemed dedicated to winning gave us Barack Hussein Obama, a radical liberal who has spent most of his adult life immersed in far-left, anti-American precincts with people who hate the United States of America and believe it should be 'humbled' and it's power greatly diminished.

This harsh reality must be faced by the Republicans that will be elected on November 2nd. Obama must be stopped by any (legal) means necessary. This will be the last chance to do so, short of a (futile) armed rebellion. Politicians that assume it'll be 'business as usual' in Washington are badly mistaken. I believe the public has awakened from it's slumber because their way of life is threatened by Obama and the Democrats - and they know their freedoms are rapidly being compromised. No more 'reaching across the aisle' nonsense. The time for all-out opposition is at hand. If not now, when?

” a mediocre Republican candidate “

That’s a remarkably charitable description - on two counts....

Besides the points noted by other Freepers, a huge difference is that we can throw words and votes at him, while he can throw federalized police, troops, planes, tanks, and even nukes at us.

Freepers call Americans the enemy every day...if they’re democrats or liberals or someone they don’t like. What’s the big deal?

The President of the United States called on Latinos to "punish our enemies", the Republicans, and you don't see any difference between that and an anonymous poster on an internet forum calling Harry Reid an idiot? Wow.
