I used to have a neighbor who was Miss Wisconsin or Miss Michigan or some midwestern state decades ago. She was a farm girl prior to her contest win.

She was on her fourth husband, all three priors had died young or middle aged.

Not that there was anything suspicious about that (hmm) but she was known in the neighborhood as "The Black Widow" as well as for the airs she put on.

The strange premature deaths of Grace Mugabe's lovers may not qualify her for the appellation "The Black Widow", but certainly "The Black Mistress" could certainly apply.
