While Hudak got endorsement of Lawrence Eagle Tribune, I guess Salem News endorsed Tierney. OK John, how much did
you pay them?

Int. of Hudak on Salem State radio (I am one of the
people talking to him)...Mr Tierney was invited and did
not care to appear on the air. (We had both candidates
on for the Sheriff race and both for the Peabody/W Peabody
house seat, etc.)

Close to an hour; listen on your Ipod/mp3 player if
you wish. He makes sense and doesn’t have a wife
who launders money with gamblers (she pled guilty and got
a slap on the wrist—Patrice Tierney)
One article I saw recently named Bielat and Hudak as
two possible upset wins (along with one in RI and one
in CT)

one of the comments to the Salem News piece endorsing Tierney:

(COMMENT):
According to the Salem News’ values and endorsement, Bill Hudak’s alleged “extreme views and troubling lapses of judgment” trump the Tierney family’s illegal offshore gambling operation, $7 million fraudulent income tax filings — of which, we’re told, the Congressman was completely unaware. He was also clueless of the family business when he voted to legalize offshore gambling.

When I think of “extreme views and troubling lapses of judgment,” John Tierney is a poster child.

“But while Tierney can be justly criticized for his support of congressional profligacy as well as his occasional arrogance . . .”

Geez, you think? That arrogance is quite a bit more than “occasional” — it’s his persona, when not sitting before an editorial board.

It must have taken some incredible contortions to rationalize this Salem News endorsement.

Kissy-face didn’t work for him at the Eagle-Tribune, which didn’t buy it for its endorsement: “Golnik, Hudak for Congress”

http://www.eagletribune.com/opinion/x154642457/Editorial-Golnik-Hudak-for-Congress

“By the end of his current term, John Tierney will have been the representative for the 6th District for 14 years. That’s long enough.

“Bill Hudak, a Republican from Boxford, has our support.

“Hudak may lack polish. He has had some missteps on his long campaign. But none of his flaws approach the arrogance displayed repeatedly over the years by the Democrat from Salem. . . .

“That whiff of superiority from Tierney is nothing new. By now, voters of the 6th District should be well sick of it. . . .

“It’s time for a change in the 6th District — 14 years is long enough for anyone to serve in Congress. Bill Hudak is the best choice for voters on Nov. 2.”

The dichotomy between the two is stunning.

It is simply amazing that Tierney has not been rocked with scandal. But it is Massachusetts.

Internet gambling, money laundering for druggies, off shore accounts totaling millions, oh, that’s my wife, I know nothing! Yeah, right.

And Tierney gets away with it.

But lotsa Hudak signs!

ARROGANCE?

The man is a crook, whose wife and brother in law participated and ran in an offshore gambling internet business, and by my extrapolation, laundered drug money in huge amounts through the internet gambling site.

He claims not to know or be aware of this activity.

What’s worse, the Tierneys or our esteemed electorate, a good chunk of which seems to buy his lying.

And the paper in his hometown endorses him—I hope people
respond with canceled subscriptions. (Bumper stickers on
some SN boxes in Beverly: “Best Fiction: The Salem News”)
He has his defenders though and these moonbats are why this
is even a close election—or will it be? Wouldn’t it be
sweet to have Hudak win 60-40? Heck, I’d be happy to have him
win 51-49...

As long as we locals are loud and proud in our support of Bill Hudak...
He will win!
Hell, there are only about 4 signs in Peabody and that city makes Chicago look honest!
