Before Obama was elected, I read a very disturbing psychology of one of his followers, who had been asked half in jest the question, “What if Obama actually *is* the Antichrist?”

After some thoughtful consideration, the Obama follower admitted that he thought that this would be a good thing. Obama being the Antichrist would mean that he was *powerful*, and this was equated in the mind of this follower to mean that Obama’s supporters would “get what they want”, but also that Obama would be able to destroy or at least savagely hurt his enemies.

In other words, the big picture, the horror, the consequences of supporting the Antichrist, meant nothing compared to the immediate gratification of cravings, and the infliction of pain and death on those the follower hated.

He imagined the cult of personality, the adoration of unbridled evil, as purposes in themselves. Gifts for the followers, to be able to adore something so powerful, so majestic. Thrilling emotional entertainment.

A book could be written about such an aberrant world view.

The sad thing is, if no one repeats this story enough, then no one will remember they said it.

Someone asked if Rush Limbaugh has mentioned this. I am still waiting for any conservative voice to mention it. I did a Google search and so far my site is one of only two sites that have pointed it out.

How can we get the word out if the Big conservative talking heads won't mention it.

I do however take solace in the fact that God knows he said it and that,

it is written: "As I live, says the LORD, Every knee shall bow to Me, And every tongue shall confess to God." So then each of us shall give account of himself to God. Romans 14:11-12

I do pray for these lost individuals, as I work diligently to defeat them.

I remember over 900 such individuals who drank some tainted Kool-Aid down in Guyana back in the late 70's. They felt the same way about Jim Jones.

Thus the common analogy of equating ones blind loyalty to a lie as drinking the Kool-Aid.

I think this actually transcends blind loyalty. Someone might be willing to kill or die for their leader, but the contrast here is staggering: a desire that their leader be superhuman, but for petty, emotional goals.

This isn’t even moral relativism. This is right up there with Moloch worship, burning one’s own children on a pyre in the hope that the idol will make it rain.

I really had not thought about it in that way, but you make an excellent point.

Today Moloch is the abortion centers. They give their children to the new Moloch so that they will supposedly have a better and easier life. Then when they get old they will wonder why the one or two children they didn't abort, put them in a rest home and never visit.
