Rasmusssen: California Senate: Boxer (D), Fiorina (R) Still Neck-and-Neck
Rasmussen Reports ^ | 10/22/2010

Posted on 10/24/2010 3:24:44 PM PDT by GVnana

California’s U.S. Senate race between Democratic incumbent Barbara Boxer and Republican challenger Carly Fiorina remains a virtual tie with less than two weeks to go until Election Day.

The latest Rasmussen Reports statewide telephone survey of Likely Voters shows Boxer picking up 48% of the vote, while Fiorina draws support from 46%. Three percent (3%) prefer some other candidate, and three percent (3%) are undecided. (To see survey question wording, click here.)

The race remains a Toss-Up in the Rasmussen Reports Election 2010 Senate Balance of Power rankings.

Last week, Boxer led Fiorina 49% to 46%. Boxer was reeelected with 58% of the vote in 2004, but despite California's strong Democratic tendencies, this race has been close all year. The incumbent, who is seeking her fourth six-year term, has held a small lead in every survey but one since February with 42% to 49% of the vote. Fiorina, a former CEO of Hewlett-Packard, has earned 38% to 47% support in those same surveys.

Hopefully the early returns from the East Coast on Election Day will be so disastrous for democrats that dispirited lemmings on the Left Coast will be too depressed to even walk to their mailbox to look for a government check, much less go vote. I’m sure there will be some mindless TV entertainment available they would much rather induldge themselves in.

Yeah unfortunately we gotta rely on all Californians to go vote..and since there is such a large union majority here, it will be hard, but I will go vote and get everyone I know to vote because getting Boxer’s ass out of here is the #1 priority

The fact that this race is so close shows exactly how far down the crapper California’s electorate has gone.

Imagine of Firoina wins by, say, 1%. Boxer’s fight to steal the seat will take us into the end of 2011.

Posted this on another thread; fits here too:

California needs one more cycle of going down the tubes before they figure out their State is chock full of idiots. It hasn’t quite dawned on the fruited brains yet that they are flat broke and about to go bankrupt. And what these low information dunces also haven’t figured out is that once the Pubs have control of the House, which will be soon, very soon, there won’t be that pot of gold they are expecting from the federal gov’t to bail them out. I feel sorry for the conservative few in California that will be taken down with these mentally challenged midgets of mind, but my suggestion to them is to move the heck out of the State and head for Texas.

All kinds of burned out fools will probably emerge from under rocks all over the state to legalize dope and vote for dems.

I’ll crawl over broken glass to vote against them.
