If you thought liberals stopped admiring President Barack Obama as the Messiah, think again. In an October 15th piece about union membership's lack of enthusiasm for the 2010 campaign, the Associated Press interviewed Herb Johnson, secretary-treasurer of the Missouri AFL-CIO. He gave his explanation as to why he thinks union members and their households are less than excited about this year's mid-term elections.

Come now the Washington Crimes is claiming that Obummer is on par with Jesus Christ. Did Obummer change water into wine, Feed 5000 men (does not include the number of children) bread and fish. has Obama healed the blind, the lame and infirm? Did Jesus have to utilize a teleprompter when delivering his speech/sermons.
what has Obummer achieved nothing, nada zippo. This is ridiculous that Obummer is compared to Jesus Christ. Obummer is not the son of God.
If you want to continue on in the comparison with Jesus Christ, remember in the end he was crucified and he saved all mankind with his redemptive Grace.
The Washington Crimes needs to read the Holy Bible and stop comparing Obummer to Jesus Christ. If the Washington Crimes wants a comparison look at Joseph Smith as a comparison - a charltan, fraud, womanizer and a demented leader. There is an accurate comparison, but do not forget Joseph Smith was murdered in the end.

Reminds me of a post from a retired UAW worker that I saw at DU. Also in his early 50's, and saying something about how the UAW won him the right to retire early enough to enjoy his grandchildren. I wonder if it bothered him that his grandchildren may have a hard time finding a job like his, or any job, when they grow up because his UAW made it too expensive to build cars here.
I believe in buying American, but I won't fault anyone for refusing to buy a UAW built car.
