I got the following e-mail from the Tea Party Express and wondered if others had heard of a poll showing Christine this close.
Stunning news to report today, fellow patriots. A brand new poll has Christine O'Donnell surging to within 6% of her Democrat challenger, Chris Coons.
This late-in-the-campaign surge replicates her surge in the polls in the GOP primary, when everyone had written her off and said she could never win.
She proved the so-called "experts" wrong before and she seems poised to do so again!
With just 10 days left until Election Day, we would love nothing more than to defeat Barack Obama's and Harry Reid's candidate, Chris Coons, and give the media heartburn by electing Christine O'Donnell to the U.S. Senate.
But now we've got to give it everything we've got because it seems the national Republican Party has abandoned her and is refusing to put money into her campaign. But we here at the Tea Party Express aren't abandoning Christine O'Donnell, and we're committed to helping her win, just as we did in the primary.
I am from Maryland. The whole state is a disgrace. It’s a mixture of government dependents and governement employees. They always vote Democrat. Mikulski the Socialist is way ahead in the Senate race. I will be pleasantly very surprised if Ehrlich can win the gubernatorial. But we’ll see. Oh did I mention the illegal alien vote? Guess which way that goes. O’Mally, who hates America as it was founded, calls them “new Americans.
I would imagine it is an internal poll paid for by the the O’Donnell campaign. Anyways this is about where I would expect her to be around a week out if she is going to win this thing. If she is within one or two points by election day I think the GOP turnout will put her over the top. No reason for the dimoKKKRATS to even vote as the msm has Coons winning by a large margin. Hehehehe.
They're going to have huge ratings that night...just from folks like us basking in their misery.
The politics of Maryland and the politics of Massachusetts have a lot in common.
I don’t get what you mean by the numbers next to the GOP candidate’s names.
It sounds like you’ve seen the poll.
Who is the pollster?
Or, just say if it is or isn’t TCJ - since you’ve seen some details.
If this was a “real” poll, and not TCJ, which is not talked about in the media at all ever, this would be either a big news story or a huge news story. The tea party express polls are an outlier, falling somewhere between TCJ and mainstream pollsters.
If it was Rasmussen, the story is big, Christine cuts the gap in half.
If it was another firm, PPP or any of the others that have done the race already, it’s huge, because all of those pollsters had it in the high teens. To go from 19 to 6, is huge.
If it were Tea Party Express’s polls, those are in a grey area. TPE was in Delaware polling for the primary, when no one else was, and they did get it right. I believe they were right in Alaska for the primary. So, if I see it’s a TPE poll, I personally will feel that that’s where we actually are at, but I’m not sure how much the poll numbers will influence the race.
Any information on who took this poll or when it was taken?
O’Donell and Tom Tancredo are making the Liberal RINO element in the GOP...and on FR...look real stupid.
All people were saying is that these two have no chance of winning. ooops....
any link to the poll?
The original poster has studiously avoided providing any source for his data.
One of the posters seems to know about this poll.
If it’s a tea party express poll, by NSON Opinion Research,
they got it right in Delaware for the primary, but they’re
not well known. Here’s a link to a story about a September primary poll they did, if it turns out that it’s a TPE poll.

Still, the Democrats made an attempt to make it all about masturbation ~ least it looked that way on Chris Matthews show!
Sure, the media did. There was no way that could not happen.
What, they were all of a sudden completely change who they are?
But everyone who was paying close attention pretty much knew that was going to happen months ago if Christine won the primary.
The numbers by the candidates names are how far behind the candidate is based on the most favorable recent poll to them.
It’s starting to appear that there is no ‘poll’.
Karl Rove is probably good for 8% to 10% - for Coons.
You are totally right. She would be having lead if it was not for this self centered guy. He alone stopped that primary momentum and gave credibility to all these stupid stuff from her past.
Its NOT a TCJ poll, so enough with yr hatred..
