This is really an astonishingly reasonable and perceptive article for the likes of Katherine Kersten. I think the DNC party faithful are realizing that the messiah is a dreadful liability that is sucking them down into the abyss.

In a way the South Americans have been ahead of us, understanding that the stable has to be cleaned out every once in a while. We’re so certain that our political system is perfect that we refuse to see how all human systems decay and become corrupt. I’ve read often in foreign press the opinion that serious reform is not possible in America. (And that’s not even because a coup d’etat is not possible.) Just think of the Depts. Of Education, Energy, or the NPR, which we’ve been promising to defund for, oh, 30 years, and now are promising again. Any bets on that happening?

Obama will certainly veto Republican driven efforts to repeal all the Cloward-Piven spending legislation intended to drive this country over a cliff. Will the Congressional Democrats (or for that matter, blue state Republicans) join in overriding the veto?

If people would only do their homework! The information was certainly available. I tried to tell people in my circle. In the early 80’s, I was a young and stupid college Black radical serving an internship for Congressman Harold Washington in Southside Chicago. At the time, I hated White people and wanted to be actively involved in the the destruction of the government. What bothers me now is I worked with some of the same people that our current (gag, hacking cough) El presidente did. Many of these people shared my opinion. Their goals were for overturning the government and replacing it with at the minimum, a socialistic form of government.
Later on in life I accepted Jesus as my L-rd and Savior. He took the hate away and replaced it with love and compassion. I later joined the US Air Force and served for 8 years and it was an honor to serve my country.
My warning is if Obama has retained the same mindset I had while living in Southside Chicago (based on his actions, it sadly appears he has) he and his ilk need to be voted out of office YESTERDAY!
I think it’ll come to violence before 2012. What is their opinion on a civil war?
