Absolutely they should be cut off. They’re day has come and gone. I have access to over 200 channels of programming, not to mention the internet. And guess what? For the most part, all the channels and all the websites find a way to support themselves. I can not think of one single reason why one dime of public money should be wasted on an entity that cannot support itself my delivering value to a targeted demographic. Most mothers quit breastfeeding their young when the young get their teeth. Time for NPR to fly or die.

These assinine twits need a pink slip from us.

They can’t even use the excuse that they are the primary outlet for classical music.

WCPE in Wake Forest NC is an excellent classical station which has nationwide affiliates, streams over the web and is totally listener funded. It does not receive nor does it ask for any government funding.
