In what is being described as the largest release of secret U.S. military documents ever, the whistle-blowing web site WikiLeaks has released a trove of classified reports about the war in Iraq, including a secret U.S. government tally that puts the Iraqi death toll between 109,000 and 285,000, according to news sources that received advanced copies of the documents.

I have been listening to Mark Levin. He said to look at the timing of this and that THIS IS THE OCTOBER SURPRISE SO THE VOTERS WILL THINK OF BUSH AND CHENEY AND NOT VOTE REPUBLICAN.

Either figure is less than the one to three million that Saddam killed.

"We deplore WikiLeaks for inducing individuals to break the law, leak classified documents and then cavalierly share that secret information with the world, including our enemies," the Pentagon said in a statement. "We know terrorist organizations have been mining the leaked Afghan documents for information to use against us and this Iraq leak is more than four times as large. By disclosing such sensitive information, WikiLeaks continues to put at risk the lives of our troops, their coalition partners and those Iraqis and Afghans working with us. The only responsible course of action for WikiLeaks at this point is to return the stolen material and expunge it from their websites as soon as possible."

I think the Pentagon and/or the CIA WANTED this leaked. They could have taken measures long ago.

Remember way back when things like this leak would have been blamed on the CIC
Remember further back when such actions would have been called treason.........,
this Wiki SOB needs to be shot.

Who leaked the documents this time? Was it the same guy as before?

Bottom line? People will die...all part of O’s agenda.
To: sheikdetailfeather
Levin is likely right. It was released so it would dominate the Sunday talk shows. And it will be the first story on Monday morning blab shows.

I don’t think people care that much in these economic times.
If this is the surprise it won’t do that much.
To: TommyDale
Wikileaks is not based in any one country from my understanding and the Pentagon....through the Justice Department doesn’t have any recourse...a lot of foreign nationals run the group...besides...do you think Obama’s Administration or Gates are going to pursue anything?
