Does NPR see that it is now in an entirely untenable situation: it simply cannot retain the CEO who slandered Williams, but fire Williams who slandered no oneand retain any shred of respect?Absolutely not.
Being an arm of the Democrat party means NEVER having to say you're sorry.
The hypocrisy and complete shamelessness of those cretins has been well established for decades.

By the way, there is not a doubt in my mind that Vivian Schiller took her cue for Williams' firing from last week's 'The View' when Behar and Goldberg walked off the set. ..Which is pretty ironic given Goldberg's comments about the firing. Down is up, and up is down..
Liberalism IS a mental disorder.

Whoopie will not publicly castigate a fellow black so I'm not surprised. Even if she hates him and his politics. He's too respected by many blacks. So, we must not assume she's got religion just because she's supporting Williams.
If Juan was fellow Fox contributors Megyn Kelly or Bernie Goldberg she'd be viciously all over them like white on rice.

Good point.
Race trumps everything with liberals.

All well said by VDH. I find it highly amusing that the libs are upset with Juan, and NPR fired him, but the supposedly racist conservative Tea Partiers, and Fox News have defended him. I don’t usually agree with Juan, but at least he had a place to point out his liberal opinions, unlike conservatives on NPR, since the only place they’re found is on the business shows. I also think this might wake Juan up a bit to the ideology he’s been defending lo these many years.
